Team came up to the front of the hotel, huffing and puffing, looking very pouty but also, very excited. He stopped in front of his boyfriend and reached out, taking his hand and looking at him with wide eyes, hopeful but nervous. "If this is a joke or a prank, I'll murder you."
"Yeah? Gonna strangle me?" Win laughed, pulling Team close and kissing his cheeks and then his lips, holding him close while he calmed his breathing a little. "I just didn't want you freaking out about it before they were even here. They'll be at the pool tomorrow too, they are gonna film there. Tonight they'll just come down to dinner. Well. One of them ordered room service."
"Can I live here as long as they live here? I won't be in the way and I'll only order food sometimes." Team begged, ready to sacrifice food for his fanboying. Kinda. He still needed some. He was a growing little piggy and he had to eat a lot. "Can I come to dinner with them? Wait, no, that's weird. Can I watch from from a distance? I could hide behind a plant pot?"
"You really do like them, huh? They're nice guys, all very polite." Win was amused, that kind of reaction was about what he had expected, but that didn't make it any less entertaining. "I'll have to stick around here anyway, so you can share the suite with me. I have a lot to organise and all, and we are really hoping no one finds out they are here."
One more point toward Manaow not finding out. "And if you think you can keep from just staring, we can have dinner at the same time as them."
"I can try. I can really try. If I stare, just kick me and I'll stop. Oh my God. I want to call Pharm! I have to call him. I need to, he loved BTS. Oh man." He was so excited, he was basically bouncing along after Win. Literally the most animated and active he'd been in since... well, ever. He smiled softly and hurried along after his boyfriend.
"Have you seen V yet? He's my favourite. He's so handsome. He's unrealistically handsome." He loved him so much, it hurt.
"Yeah, we talked a little, he asked about the flower." As they entered the lobby, Win indicated the plant pot that had drawn the attention of that V guy. Kim Taehyung, he remembered. "He called me Win-hyung. I guess that's like 'Phi'."
He was learning, Ten had been a big help here. "Something weird happened with Ten and another one of them. Min Yoongi. Stage name Suga." There, he was getting it down.
"With Suga? Huh. Phi-Ten is just ... I dunno, I like him but he's kind of unpredictable. What did he do? Did he spill something on him or accidentally insult him? Remember when he did that last time? It was so embarrassing, I could have died! They were actors!"
Really, very traumatic. They were so handsome and everything. And Ten totally did it on purpose. He really hated some BL actors for some reason.
"In Ten's defence, they were homophobes." Not that he approved of spilling anything on anyone or insulting any guest, but he could see the motive. "Anyway, no, nothing like that. He hid behind the counter and then him and that guy stared at each other for a minute before he asked Ten to show him to his room. Ten hasn't gotten back yet. It was weird. He wanted to quit? I dunno."
"That is weird. Maybe he'll tell us later. I hope he does quit though, he's good at this job. Especially when someone is being a dick." He loved Win and Win could handle everything without Ten, he was sure of it but when a customer wanted to complain or exploit Win's good nature, Ten always argued against them or scared them off. It made Win face a lot less pressure.
"I wonder if he knows Yoongi... that's weird, huh?"
"I guess it's possible... They are around the same age and Ten lived in Korea for a long time." Still bizarre though. This idol, who had international fame and all that money and all those fans and Ten, who was only now slowly getting his life together? Win had to wonder. "I'll ask him when he shows up. I just hope it won't interfere with things here. They've booked the whole place for three weeks."
"Three weeks? Oh. Oh God. Three weeks? I can't believe it. Oh no, I hope they don't think I'm dumb while they're here. What if they hate me? What if I suck? I don't know any more." Team came to a half, anxious and worked up, pacing back and forth as he tried to work out whether or not he wanted to meet his idols and true loves or even be in a room with them.
"What if they look at me and think I'm fat and dumb?!" Yes, maybe no one really did that but Team was terrified it'd happen one day to him.
"Then they are blind and stupid," Win told him, smiling a little as he pulled him close, one arm around his waist. "If anything, you look a lot like one of them. I'm starting to see why you like them."
He definitely couldn't complain about their looks, especially that one guy. Not that he was quite as cute as his Team. He kissed him and then checked his phone, frowning. "I guess Ten is headed down now. Maybe he can fill us in on what's going on."
