"Go show yourself off to the kid." Cheon gestured to Minjun, "He's above me in rank, can you believe it? Just because of his last name. Lucky guy."
"Yeah, I'm blessed." Minjun rolled his eyes and he looked at Jimin, still blushing. He had to find a way to talk to him! Preferably not in front of everyone.
"Come on, Kangwoo, don't be boring. We can continue the game after we've figured out your cousin's type. Minjun, what do you like about my Jimin?"
"Baeks come first." Kangwoo repeated before he sighed and set his cards down for now crossing his arms in annoyance. He wanted to keep playing but fine, apparently they were hanging out with a whore instead. He pulled out his phone and idly started to scan the Star Wars wikia. "Jimin won't be his type."
"Jimin is everyone's type." Sangwoo smirked and have Soohyun a playful high five.
Jimin looked at Minjun and then approached him, not sure what Cheon wanted him to do exactly. He looked at Cheon and then back at Minjun. "You can touch me anywhere you want." He supposed that was the best way to show off.
"Right." Minjun wanted to sink into the ground. He wished he could just hide behind some playboy persona, but he couldn't do that under these circumstances, in front of these people. Not when he was fighting so hard to get Ten the respect he deserved. So finally he just bowed his head. "It's nice to meet you, hyung."
"Aw. Very polite. How come you never call me hyung?" Cheon felt that was worth asking.
"Your face isn't pretty enough," Soohyun suggested, "This must be how he flirts."
Sure. Sure, let them believe that. How did he get to be alone with Jimin?
"He's a nice boy, this one. Remember? Hey, Jimin, how nice are you inside?" Sangwoo laughed and gave Minjun a mocking smile - how the fuck did Kangwoo take this kid seriously? He was so damn soft. Not that Kangwoo seemed overly interested right now, he clearly just wanted to beat them all at poker - nothing else.
Jimin didn't think he had a nice inside so he didn't answer, he just reached out and stroked Minjun's cheek softly, knowing how Cheon liked him to seduce the more nervous ones.
"You don't have to call me hyung. You can call me whatever you want." Jimin smiled softly but blankly, it didn't reach his eyes at all.
"Then I can call you hyung," Minjun pointed out, before simply reaching for Jimin's hand. Mostly to discourage him from touching him, but also because he decided to be daring. Not that it wasn't easier to downplay that side of him so they would underestimate him. "Come with me, yeah? I want to show you something."
With that he just headed for the door Jimin had walked through before, followed by cheers and catcalls and whistling from the annoying bunch. Minjun closed the door behind them and exhaled, letting go of Jimin's hand and changing his stance a little. More himself, seeming a lot less sheepish. The whole situation was making him nervous, but it wasn't as if he couldn't handle himself. "Sorry. Those jerks make me very uncomfortable." To say the least.
"It's okay, I'll make you comfortable now." He gently pushed Minjun back against the bed and pulled his shirt off in one easy motion. Cheon told him he was allowed to move around freely today but he was supposed to seduce and play with Kangwoo's new friend. The cousin, apparently. So probably important.
And that meant that Jimin knew why he was here so he wasted little time. At least Minjun was pretty? That was... something? "Lie back, I'll take care of you."
"What? No. No, no, no!" Minjun shook his head, feeling panicked. "Damn, my boyfriend would cut my dick off." Which wasn't the big concern here, but still. He didn't want to cheat on Ten. So he had to get to the point. "Listen. You are Jimin, right? Park Jimin? My boyfriend, he saw pictures of you. He talked to Hobi. That guy... Jung Hoseok. The guy with the Min Clan."
Minjun wanted to say this in a better order, but it was hard to focus while not looking at half-naked Jimin out of some sense of guilt. "He has been looking for you everywhere. He's trying to find you. He won't give up."
Turning his head to finally look at him, his eyes soft, he added, "He told him that he loves you. And he's really upset he's never told you."
Well, he didn't see this going there but ... well, what was he supposed to do now? Jimin wasn't sure what to say to Minjun, he looked at him for a long while before he lowered his head and rubbed the back of his neck. Hoseok still cared about him? That -- That was what he'd hoped? It was nice. It didn't change anything. "I... I love him too. Loved him, I guess. It's not -- It doesn't matter." He knew that wasn't possible to have any more.
Not since Cheon found out. He looked up at Minjun, not sure why he was the one telling him this. "Are you threatening Hoseok? Because I'm just a whore, I'm not someone Cheon even cares about. You can't get to him through me." Why else would a Dark Dragon care? "What do you want?"
"Cheon, he uses you to threaten Hoseok. But it's complicated, because he has no official claim on you, so the Min Clan can't go after Cheon for it. Okay? And I want to help. I don't like Cheon. I want to help you get back with Hoseok." Minjun wished he had more of a plan in place, because here he was talking to an older guy who didn't even believe that he could want to help him. Probably didn't think he could either.
"We want to change things. My boyfriend and I. We want to change things for the Dark Dragons and Cheon stands in the way of that."
"Oh... good luck with that." No, Jimin didn't sound like it brought it at all. Some teenager and his boyfriend thought they could change the dark dragons? Sounded dumb to him. He walked over and picked up his t-shirt, pulling it back on to cover himself up as the boy talked. "Look, you can't stop Cheon. He's powerful, he's got good connections and he's got cash. He's a brute and he'll happily crush your skull between his bare hands." And he could probably pull it off too.
The guy took a lot of drugs, he'd seen Cheon in roid rage before - it always hurt a lot. "You should really leave if you don't like how it's run. You can't change it so... save yourself."
"I'm sorry you feel like that." It made sense, of course, but it still hurt his heart. Maybe it was a good thing Ten couldn't be here for this, he wouldn't have wanted to see the disappointment on his face. "Just know that Hoseok really is trying all he can to get you. I hope that's a good thought."
Maybe it wasn't. Maybe there was no space in Jimin's life for good thoughts. Minjun patted himself down because he felt he had to give something to Jimin and in the end he just pulled out a pack of gum. "...you want some gum?"
"It's a good thought." Jimin promised with a small, sad smile. It didn't matter much, he didn't think it'd change anything but at least when Cheon fucked him tonight, he could daydream about Hobi and not wonder if he just forgot him. He, of course, now had to worry that Hobi didn't do anything stupid for him. Poor, sweet boy. He wanted to keep him safe.
He looked at the gum being offered and then slowly looked up at Minjun. What? "No." Gum? Really? "I'm not much of a gum person... sorry." He cleared his throat and then considered Minjun. "Do you want to pretend that we fooled around so you can look cool?"
"Don't really care. I'm cooler than those losers any day." Minjun shrugged his shoulders, "You can tell them that I showed you how good I am at candy crush, for all I care." He was pretty good at candy crush, so hey. Minjun ran a hand through his hair, looking at the door. "I have a plan for all of that. For them. But I'd like to get you out of here first, hyung."
He might be a teenager and on occasion a dork, but he was still born into the Baek family, he knew what it took and he was ready to do it.
"Sure. With your candy crush skills." Jimin smiled at him and then leaned forward, kissing his cheek. "You're a sweet boy. Don't let them hurt you." Jimin knew he had to go back out and Cheon would quiz him later but for now, he could make sure he and this sweet boy ended on a good note. He was trying, at least. That was something... right?
"Being sweet doesn't mean weak, you know? Like you. You are strong." Minjun bowed before him and smiled a little bit, then squared his shoulders and headed back out. Everything pretty much as he had left it, only now they were leering at him and making stupid jokes.
Cheon gestured fro Jimin to come over to him so he could pull him on his lap and Minjun sat down next to Kangwoo, glancing over to see what he was looking at. "This is fun." It really was not. "Hyung, can I come with you to your next meetings too?"
Because one of them was with Min Yoongi. He wanted to be there.
"Maybe, we'll see it. It's kind of a big deal and -- hey, which one of you punks removed their chips while I wasn't looking?" Kangwoo huffed as he showed his cards and glared at Sangwoo, who looked elsewhere. He was broke! Sue him!
Jimin settled on Cheon's lap reluctantly and watched Minjun, curious if he could actually do anything. He seemed so young but then again, so was Min Yoongi and Kangwoo when they got their positions.
"Yeah, I don't consider whores a prerequisite for having fun. For one thing, I can actually get some without forcing or paying anyone."
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Soohyun wasn't even sure if he was offended. What did prerequisite mean again? Seriously, what was that supposed to mean? "I thought your cousin grew up in the US, who taught him all the fancy Korean?"
"I'm a genius," Minjun said drily, while looking at Kangwoo, "Come on. It will be good if we present a united front, right? And it's better to show off with someone by your side."
"I can come with him any time," Cheon muttered darkly.
"Yeah, right." Minjun rolled his eyes, then looked at Kangwoo again. "Who would you rather have with you meeting the Min Clan?"
"... Are you fucking serious right now?" Was he actually asking him to pick sides? To decide between Minjun and Cheon? Jesus Christ. He wanted to punch Minjun just for doing this. For slighting him like this in front of everyone. He reached out to grab the little punks shirt and shook him a little. "You watch how you talk or you're never coming with me, you know? You watch yourself."
He huffed and got up, dropping his cards on the table.
"If we're not playing, I'm going." And besides, he wasn't in the mood now. He didn't want to talk about this stupid bullshit. He gave Cheon a look, clearly uneasy because he was being asked to chose between his best friend and his cousin.
"Come on, Kangwoo. Relax. Let's play. Your cousin's a little boy, they all like to test their boundaries. Just ignore him, he's just upset I got his boyfriend hard." Cheon was amused, smirking. "It's not that serious."
Minjun adjusted his shirt, sighing. One more step along the way. He was hoping he had timed this right, then it should work in his favour. Or, at least, in Jimin's favour. He hoped for that a lot. "I'm no good at poker."
Kangwoo came back over and dropped down, annoyed at this stupid contest between Minjun and Cheon. He hated when people made him pick sides. "Look... I don't want to play if you're both acting like this. It's not a contest, it's a game." Why was Minjun making everything awkward with his friends? He had to show he was strong and in control or no one would respect him. And right now, Minjun was pushing too much.
He felt cornered and that was never good. "Just stick to getting your little toy there hard and keep your hands off Ten."
"Jimin is nice. He doesn't like gum." Well. Whatever, Minjun just didn't want to listen to a person being treated like an object while he was in the room. Even if he had to play poker with people who thought like that. Damn. He didn't even remember what cards were the good ones. Poker was so boring. Why couldn't gangsters play Dance Dance Revolution? He was great at that.
Cheon was feeling Jimin up with one hand, but he snorted. "What? You dragged him to another room just to get to know him? Cute."
"He's taken. He offered me gum." Jimin informed Cheon as he tried to angle his hips away from Cheon's roaming hand, lightly knocking his knee on the table. Ow. "He's cute."
"Woah." That was all he did. Kangwoo was weirdly relieved. "I thought I was going to have to stop Ten from killing you." Well, that little brat was a scrappy psycho sometimes. "I don't think gum preferences tells you a lot about someone."
"I don't know. I got thrown out of class more than once for my stance on gum." Sometimes one had to stick to his gums. Heh. Damn, that was hilarious! Why was no one in this room good enough at English to appreciate it? He'd definitely have to tell Ten later. "Jimin-hyung is fun, he's nice. It was good, getting to know him and taking a break from losing at poker."
"Uh-huh. Talk to me again once you turn into a man and your dick starts working." Cheon snorted, shaking his head. "The boy's a whore. They are all the same."
"They try to charm you, idiot. All whores seem nice. That's what we pay them for." Kangwoo rolled his eyes as he dealt the cards and, Jimin wasn't sure why he did it or what possessed him to but he was listening to Minjun and just feeling kind of restless so whatever. He was never the best at holding his tongue.
"You don't pay me." Well. They didn't. When was the last time he got cash? "And I am nice." He was a damn delight.
"Huh. Do any of your whores get paid, Cheon-hyung?" Minjun had never before called him hyung, so Cheon was taken off-guard by that and it made him, at least temporarily, forget about punishing Jimin.
"They get paid if they deserve it." Seemed fair enough to him. "Don't worry about it, pretty boy. They all learn to be sluts quickly enough. They should be paying us."
