"You should smoke some. Make you relax. Better than whatever the boss has you take." But they were nearly there, so Minjun turned the corner, getting closer to the club. "But we can arrange that. I owe you one lap dance. Under the weirdest circumstances we'll be able to improvise."
Minjun already had a feeling it would be pretty insane. He parked the car, then unfastened his seat belt and looked at Ten. "How much time alone with the boss before I interrupt? Fifteen? Thirty?"
"I'm already on enough stuff. Besides, weed smells." He wasn't against the idea of weed but he was no longer sixteen and cared about how he smelled so the weed was off the table. He looked at Minjun, unsure why he was doing him any favours. Especially after that kick to the balls. "Don't worry about it, I can handle the boss."
He couldn't but he was sensing there was no easy way out. Delaying the inevitable was pointless. "Don't do fifteen, he'll beat your ass for interrupting. If you wanna be dumb, give it half an hour. Twenty at the least."
"See, now you're catching on. Being dumb. That's my charm." Minjun winked at him and then he got out of the car, unlocking the passenger door and opening it up for Ten. "Let me take those handcuffs off of you. As far as the boss is concerned, you came along happily."
Made little sense, but whatever. Might make them all sound a bit better.
"Cause he'll buy that. I left at 4am." Out of the window, no less. Cheon was going to start locking that thing soon, he was always using it as an exit. Window, bathroom window, the fire escape to the roof... he found a lot of ways to escape. The only thing that stopped him was when he was literally tied down. He wasn't sticking around with Cheon, one day he'd get bored and not find him. Or so Ten hoped.
As they got out of the car, Ten rubbed his wrists and debated running but Gyungho was there, waiting to catch him. Fuck. "You guys should get better jobs."
"You gotta start somewhere." Minjun shrugged and then gestured to the door. "After you." He stayed behind Ten, walking next to Gyungho. It was a lot like leading a lamb to slaughter. Sure, Ten was far from innocent, but he was nice. Sweet, even. Fun and, yes, hot and definitely not deserving of this.
Minjun kept his voice low enough only Gyungho could hear him, but he had to let it out. "I hate this."
"Ditto. Just keep thinking, soon we'll be drinking." Gyungho's favourite little mantra he often sang when cutting up bodies and feeding them to pigs. This sucked, it was a shitty thing to do but soon it would be over and they could have some whiskey together. "He'll be fine, it's not like Cheon will kill him." Not the best but... that was something.
Ten dragged his feet into the main room and eyed up the surroundings, unsure where best to go. "Can I just go upstairs...?" Maybe he could avoid Cheon! And then climb out of the window again.
"Not a chance. Sorry. Boss should be down any minute. I could get you a drink?" Minjun wasn't really sure what to do either, but they had been told to fetch and give over and here they were at the give over part of the day. He headed for the bar, adjusting the handcuffs that were dangling a little. "What do you drink?"
He could pass the time for Ten, at least. "You should play a game with me. Cards. I'm no tazza, so it's all fair."
"Vodka." Ten ordered as he leaned on the counter, hoping to get pissed nice and quickly. He sighed and gave Minjun a look, watching Gyungho wander off to whisper to some guy and gesture at Ten. Oh yeah, he was getting Cheon. Damn it. Maybe after he and Cheon had words, hopefully just words, he could sneak out again. He needed new places to go, places that they wouldn't check.
"Your friend is the tazza, right? You're just the numbers guy." Ten found it interesting, they were a weird pair of friends. "I'm really shit at cards."
"Yeah, Gyungho is the best. You should watch him some time, he's better than this place deserves. Sometimes he gets lazy, just so see if someone will catch on. They never do." Minjun loved watching for many reasons. Some of them as transparent as the reasons women had to like spending time here, but hey. He could think his straight friend was hot, there was no law against it.
"I could count cards. I did that for a while actually, that's how I met Gyungho. But it's not that much fun for me." Minjun shrugged his shoulders. "I don't have the poker face anyway." He reached up, framing his face with his hands. "What you see is what you get."
"I know, I can tell. You're too honest." Ten could see it in his face, he gave in too swiftly, he meant to well and he was basically doomed if he didn't find his niche and survive. He reached out and petted Minjun's face before dropping his hand and picking up his drink. "I haven't worked out if that's good or bad yet."
He knocked back a few gulps of his drink and winced at how it burned his throat. He eyed up Minjun and set the glass down. "Still haven't worked out if you're good or bad yet either. I'll keep pondering, cutie."
"Tell me when you find out. I haven't made up my mind yet." Minjun turned around in the stool, leaning a little closer to Ten. Of course, he was careful not to lean too close. "Do you know the feeling when you don't know if you want to burn everything or run everything?" He bit down on his lower lip, giving a shake of his head.
"Whatever it is. I'll make sure you're not tied to the tracks this time. Even if I have to tie you to my bed instead."
"You fucking wish. I'm gonna be tied to his bed, not yours. Get your head out of the clouds before you get your dick cut off, dumb boy." Ten got that feeling, he felt like that sometimes but mostly, he liked to live and he liked to be comfortable. He'd rather find reasons to like and tolerate Cheon than really pick a fight with him.
He had no desire to die so young. And he didn't want to get anyone else killed either. "There's a lot of single boys in the world. Stop chasing what you can't have."
"Never my head. My head is good with numbers. It's my heart doing the flying." Minjun slid a hand under his shirt to simulate a heart beating, smirking at Ten. "But my head is still there too. Never forget, I'm calculating."
He might have said more, but Cheon walked in and so he got up to bow properly. Cheon stopped next to Ten, silent as he looked at him, waiting for whatever he was apparently after.
Ten distances himself from Minjun very swiftly for the dumb boy's sake and met Cheon's eyes, not sure what he wanted him to do. He was in a room full of people so offering to suck his dick and call it even probably wasn't the best move he could make right now. Ten sheepishly smiled and tried his best to seem naive and charming.
"Hey, handsome, I missed you." Ten hoped Cheon was just going to agree and then he could go upstairs, shower and plot his next escape.
"Funny." Cheon left it at that, looking Ten over. Then he suddenly slapped him, obviously not caring that they were in a room full of people. Minjun jumped, but resisted the urge to do something. Instead he looked down, counting in his head. Now he wished he had left sooner.
Ow. Ten raised his hand and rubbed his cheek, wishing Cheon would do this away from people. He really didn't want people watching this, it was embarrassing. "I just needed some air... I'm sorry." Ten bowed his head and then looked back up, trying his best not to piss him off any further. "I came back willing... it was boring is all. Sorry."
"He did come back willingly," Minjun hastened to say, but Cheon didn't even look at him right now. He just grabbed Ten by the hair and then forced him down on his knees, hissing at him.
"You disrespect me. If you won't show me the respect I deserve, why should I keep treating you well, huh? You got an answer for that too, smart mouth?"
"Ah! Fuck, Cheon!" Ten dropped to his knees forcefully and winced, lowering his head apologetically. "I said I was sorry! I'm sorry! I'm really, really sorry!" Was it too late to beg? Fuck no. He was going to try because what else did he have to add? His only option was to beg and hope for the best.
"Cheon, baby, please. I respect you, promise! I got restless. I'm stupid like that." If he was stupid and pathetic, maybe he'd get a pass. "I'll make it up to you."
"You're giving everyone a show, boss." Minjun kept his voice very, very low, but Cheon heard him anyway and he noted some of the smirks on the faces of the men watching. Fair enough.
He nodded and gestured to Ten. "Get up. You look pathetic. We'll talk upstairs."
Generally speaking, he wasn't that generous with sharing any bit of Ten. Including his begging.
Ten looked around the room and then swiftly got to his feet, anxious and pretty ashamed cause this fucking sucked. He never used to even get spoken to badly when his father was running this part of Seoul. He fucking hated all of this. "I'm coming, sorry."
Looking back at Minjun, he wanted to say something or acknowledge what he did but he just couldn't. He looked at him for a few moments before hurrying along after Cheon.
"I'll be good, Cheon. I really, really will this time." Well. Probably not. He couldn't help it.
"Sure you will. You know who runs away that way? Prisoners. Do you want me to treat you like that? I give you too much freedom." Cheon closed the door behind them, looking Ten over. "Who did you fuck, huh? Where did you whore yourself out this time? Fucking slut. Go take a shower."
He grabbed Ten by the arm and dragged him to the bathroom. "Get your clothes off."
"I didn't fuck anyone! I went to get food, I was fucking hungry!" Ten yelled back and then regretted it, his heart racing as he swiftly tried to get his clothes off, just wanting to get this shit over with. It wasn't fair, he didn't fuck anyone. He never got the chance to. If only he'd taken his chances and fucked Minjun.
At least then he'd deserve this shit. "I am a prisoner..." Did Cheon not get that? He stood there, naked and angry, not sure what Cheon thought this was. "You stole me!"
"Yeah, that's right. You are. But I let you live here like a fucking prince. You have your freedom. You get to have your fun. Do you need to see how much worse it could be before you realise how grateful you should be?!"
Cheon grabbed him by the throat and forced him into the shower, grabbing a pair of handcuffs from the mirror and using them to fasten Ten's hand to the shower rail above his head. "You need to learn your place. And you need to learn manners. I even send my nicest boys to get you. I tell them they can beat you and they never do."
"I'm not grateful!" Maybe he should lie, beg, try to get back on his good side but it was spiralling too much now he just felt so fucking angry. "You treat me like shit. Lemme go!" Ten yanked his hands against the cuffs but they didn't even budge, they weren't flimsy like some could be. He'd escaped cuffs Cheon had put him in before but these ones, they were strong. Damn it.
"I should be grateful because you don't have men beat me up?" Ten yanked his wrist again and cried out in frustration. "I just wanted to be alone for a few hours. I didn't do anything fucking wrong. I got food and came back... I came back, Cheon. Please!"
"Oh, shut up. I'll talk to the boys. They can tell you where you like to hide out. Maybe next time, I'll smoke you out." Cheon turned the shower on, turning the shower head so the water hit Ten right in the face. He wanted him to struggle for breath, much less speech.
And then, when he finally let him breathe again, he turned the water to hot, waiting for it to be scalding, just holding it against Ten until his skin turned red. Fun.
