"Yo! Hot guy." Minjun had just come strolling out of Cheon's office, running a hand through his hair as he approached the card tables. It wasn't that busy anyway, so whatever. Other people could take over for Gyungho. Although for right now, Minjun turned a chair and sat down opposite his friend, lazily watching.
"Last round for you, boss wants us to go out. We're going butterfly catching." Again. "They keep fluttering off."
"Seriously? Come on, you can't pull someone out of a game like this. It's annoying." Gyungho pouted as he tossed some more chips into the pile and sighed, looking as annoyed as he could. "This sucks, I'm almost out of cash and I got no chance of winning it back? Fuck that. Let's hope I'm lucky this hand."
And he was. Magically. Somehow. While everyone at the table groan and glared, Gyungho got up with a bright grin. "Gotta run but damn, I got lucky. Pay your shares to Cheon, you know the drill." Hopefully that'd make the boss man happy. "We gotta go catch butterflies. See you girls later."
"Bye! You guys are really good losers. I admire that!" Minjun gave them the thumbs up and then turned to fall in step next to Gyungho, glancing at him from the side. "You hurt your hand or something? You were a bit sloppy there. Or just felt like taking a risk?" It was always fun to watch Gyungho do his thing. Minjun wasn't much of a gambler himself, but he did appreciate a good show.
"Anyway. He's lost him somewhere between three am and ten am, we got no leads."
"I was wondering if they'd notice. I thought it'd be obvious, we'd have a punch up, I'd not have to go catching some twink." He could have sat back, ease the tension, played 'fair' and have another whiskey. He didn't much feel like butterfly catching but they never had much choice what jobs they did. "You know, if I had a bae and he kept fucking off, I'd probably call it a day on him."
Just saying. He stretched out and hit the button for the lift, turning to smile at Minjun. "I like them to chase after me, not the other way around."
"I wouldn't call it a day... I like playing." Minjun didn't mind doing the chasing. In theory, anyway. "Though I've done it the other way more. Get chased. It's fun. Of course, I had less reason to run." Because as annoying as this was, it was made more annoying by how he felt bad for even having to do it. Cheon wasn't exactly someone he'd wish on anyone.
"Do any women have to chase you? I thought they just came to sit at your table with their breasts on display. It's more like angling than chasing. Easy bait."
"You'd be surprised. I make it difficult. And those who want more than a fuck have got a hard road ahead. Sometimes I'm nice, I'll fuck them twice. Never more than that." Gyungho was a pig, he knew he was but he didn't care. He got what he wanted out of life and what he wanted was very shallow. He never hurt the women, not physically, he was always charming and nice but he did not want to stick around long.
"So... Where do you think he fluttered off to this time?" The night club scene again? Coffee shop? That one noodle house he was always in? Who knew.
"See, I don't see the point in that. I want to get more out of it than just a fuck. If that's all I wanted, I could just use my hand, I'm good with that. But I like when there's more. That makes it worth the effort." Minjun shrugged his shoulders and laughed. "I should really try being with a woman, huh?"
Maybe that would work out better for him. If it wasn't for the gay thing. Minjun checked his watch. "A bit too early for any clubs. Maybe that noodle house he likes? Or for all I know he's feeding pigeons in the park."
"Look, you know, the point of a fuck is a fuck. You're talking about love. I'm not." He didn't want much more out of what he got than what he got.
"Let's go to the noodle place, get some food and then see what we can find. We can just keep walking around the city until we find the little bastard." He walked out of the elevator and pushed the door open, heading over to their battered old car - a company car, if you will. He tossed the keys to Minjun can he was so not sober enough to drive.
"Have you ever fucked someone you loved? You'd kick all your other habits and focus on chasing that high too."
Minjun got into the driver's seat, turning it on. He patted himself down and found a tape that he pushed in, so they could listen to some proper music. "I brought handcuffs this time. By the way. Should help us rein him in."
"Just don't let him seduce you this time." It was shocking how easily Ten could get in Minjun's head, it was kind of funny to watch and kind of annoying when Ten slipped away, hauling ass across town and leaving them to chase all over again. "You're such a sucker for a hot guy. You trash on me for wanting hot chicks and then a pretty boy comes along, suddenly your dick is doing the thinking."
With a smirk, he leaned back in his seat and put his sunglasses on, just enjoying the music.
"Just don't get too excited when you put the cuffs on him."
"A boy has to be more than just pretty or I'd be all over you." Minjun rolled his eyes, because the unfortunate truth was that Ten was more than just pretty. He was smart, he was funny, he was kinky and somehow he was sweet as well. And he belonged to Cheon. "He's too good for the boss."
That much was for sure. "Anyway, maybe I'll just cuff us together. Keep him from bouncing."
"No one can tell the boss what to do. He took down the leechaiya-- whatevers. Such a long name. The point is, he called dibs on the son and that's like gangster law. Gotta obey it." He felt bad for Ten, it must have sucked to lose all that power, money and safety and end up with a pig like Cheon but he could also not make their lives a pain as well. "Don't get attached. When you say shit like that, I can tell. You're gonna get attached."
And nothing would be worse than falling for the boss's boyfriend. "He's taken. Get over."
"Now you are telling me I can't have him? Seriously, you are the worst. It's like you want me to get into trouble!" Minjun groaned, but also ended up laughing, shaking his head. "Don't worry about it. I hardly know him. He's hot but... A lot of boys are hot."
He didn't tend to be in trouble until he really bonded with someone and luckily that took some time these days. "Why do you think he goes to that noodle place? Just cause they have good noodles?"

no subject
thinking about movies

when the boss gets betrayed
no subject
that never ends well in reality.
Unless you have a LOOOOOOOOOOOOT of people behind you.
Why? Is Cheon pissing you off? Get over it.
no subject
you don't need to have a lot of people behind you
you just need a lot of knowledge
no subject
What's the issue? Who pissed you off?
... It wasn't Cheon's bae, was it? Cause I fucking warned you.
no subject
cheon pisses me off

no subject
It's not about winning one big score.
I'm making connections, making friends and then I'll clear them all out.
We'll have good positions by the end of the year if we stick it out.
