"You suck so much at doing this. You're supposed to be like 'hey Namjoon, I'm dating!' and then I can be happy for you. Right now, I'm just, like, thrown. What the hell? Yoongi." Did he have to drop this kind of thing on him like it was casual and normal? Cause it really was not! Huffing a little, he set his drink down and leaned forward. "So you and Jimin are dating." That weirdly made sense. "Explains a lot."
Dropping back in his seat, he considered who they had on staff and who would match Jimin quite well and still be good at their job. "I have some guys in mind. I'll get the profiles by noon."
"I'm sorry. I missed the memo of when we became teenage girls." Yoongi rolled his eyes, but he was more amused than anything. Besides, he could see that Namjoon had a point, he was just used to approaching things practically, which also explained why he gave Jimin a whole list of disclaimers about their hypothetical dating life already, before they'd even spent a night together.
He got his phone out and seemed as if he might just be dodging the question, but then he handed the phone over the desk to Namjoon, showing the video he had taken yesterday of Min Holly and Jimin playing with each other. It was adorable. It was also clearly taken at Yoongi's place, which was saying something. Yoongi wasn't really the type to entertain. "He is cute. I want to buy him pretty things."
"He is precious. Woah, you got yourself two puppies in the end." With a small huff of laughter, he reached out and took the phone, looking at the picture and seeing how happy Jimin was on Yoongi's floor. So he'd been to his house and they were dating? That was pretty official already as far as Namjoon was concerned. He passed the phone back and caught that smug little smile on Yoongi's face.
It made him laugh, he couldn't help it, he beamed himself. "Holy shit, you're so in love. This is great! Look at you two, getting all domestic."
"He's in bed right now." Yes, Yoongi had taken a picture of that too, but that was for his own eyes only and he put his phone away for now. "Speaking of, I thought the smartest thing would be to move him to my place. Easiest option, security-wise." Which was the big thing to think about when it came to this, as he was sure Namjoon knew. People were waiting for a weak spot. They always were.
"Once security is set up, I told him he can hold my hand in public and he's very excited about that, so." Yoongi shrugged his shoulders. "I really need to buy him clothes though, most of his stuff has holes."
"Oh yeah, totally for security." What? It was funny. He laughed and sipped his drink, obnoxiously slurping as he enjoyed his friends happiness. He seemed so content, so pleased with himself and well, so was Namjoon. He got a boyfriend and he seemed happy, they were moving in together and what did Namjoon have to show for his dating life? Na-da.
"Well, he was a street punk, I can't imagine that leads to many brand labels." Shaking his head, he wondered if he should also get Tae some fresh clothes. Especially since he didn't have a mob boss boyfriend to rely on. "You two are already cute."
"I know." No, Yoongi didn't think he was cute, but he did think Jimin was adorable and either way he'd decided to own it. Seemed easier, in the long run. It tended to make people tease him less. "I'll just take him shopping when I next have time." Then he could find out more about Jimin's tastes, which would be a good thing if he'd continue on wanting to give him expensive gifts.
"He bought me a blueberry muffin yesterday. Brought it to work for me." That was adorable, he could brag about that. "Anyway. Did you have anything to put on the agenda?"
"That I want a muffin." Namjoon whined because why didn't anyone bring him a muffin. He rolled his eyes and then slowly, he shook his head. "Not a lot. Cheon is still missing, we can't find him and most of the Dark Dragons are out of town, they know when to leave. Everyone knows about Kookie and they don't want to get in your way. Otherwise? Same old, same old."
Nothing much to add. He got to his feet and threw his finished coffee into the bin. "I'l look for those files and I'll get back to you on security."
"You look like you need to catch up on sleep. Keep your night free?" Someone had to take care of Namjoon, because he knew Namjoon didn't take good care of himself most of the time. Which was also why he was actually considering getting him a muffin somehow. "And be prepared for Tae's whining, now that I'm going to steal his roommate."
"I'm already preparing. I'll get him some clothes and a TV, might appease him." Namjoon shrugged his shoulders and smiled at Yoongi as he backed up towards the door. "And I'll try to keep the night free, it'll be on my planner." But he did already have a few jobs he wanted to get done. "Have fun being in looooove."

Hopefully. "Tell me more about you two."
