"Just tell me what they took." Yoongi's voice sounded calm, but that wasn't really saying much. He didn't like how nervous Hoseok looked, that didn't bode well.
Hoseok wasn't worried for his life, as many others would be in his position. Yoongi was his friend and Yoongi wasn't the type of person to come after their friends. He had known Yoongi since before he had his position, even if he didn't know him quite as long as Namjoon, they were still close. But that didn't mean that Yoongi didn't get angry and there were so, so many ways he could make his life difficult.
So, yes, he looked obviously nervous as he sat down next to Namjoon, his hand shaking a little when he took a sip from his drink. He had never had the best nerves. "We have the security tapes, but they're masked. I've looked over them."
"We want to watch them too." Mostly because Yoongi knew Namjoon had a keen eye for detail. "Now. How much?"
"...they got six of the packages you gave me to store." Hoseok finished his drink, since it was a good way to avoid looking at Yoongi directly. "I know I said it'd be safe. I don't know how they did it!"
"I'm still out of a shitload of money even if you don't know how it happened. It's like the world's worst magic trick." Yoongi sighed and finally just looked at Namjoon. "It's good stuff, high quality. How many people do you reckon even provide it like this in Seoul?"
Not exactly an easy thing to get away with, if whatever idiots stole it to sell it themselves.

"Oh, they're not smart, they're idiots. It's ridiculously rare. Someone would have to suddenly be dealing a lot of cocaine and none of the rival gangs could shift that level of product without giving it away. We'll know as soon as it hits the street." Given it's purity, it's quality and where it came from, Namjoon was sure that it'd get around the streets and become gossip in a matter of time.
He reached out and gave J-Hope a small squeeze to the shoulder, just to assure him that there was going to be no harm to his person. It wasn't his fault. No one expected some idiots to be ballsy enough to rob them.
"Can we see the tapes? I'm curious. I doubt it's a gang so it's gotta be a bunch of wannabes who felt like getting into dealing." And as long as they didn't try to cut the product, it'd be easy to track. And even if they did cut it, still not a giant challenge. "They'll show themselves up in no time."
And then they were dead.

"Yeah, yeah. Of course." Hoseok got up, smiling briefly at Namjoon while Yoongi was mostly contemplating his drink.
"How stupid do you have to be to do that?" Very stupid, that was obvious. And yet they had to know that they even stored stuff here, which was what bothered him about it.
J-Hope sat down again, opening his laptop and immediately bringing up the tapes, already around the right marker. He moved back so Namjoon could play it, while Yoongi finally looked up again as well, watching the screen.
"So, you just got no security or..."
"Of course I do! They are just not in the frame. There's one placed right around the corner from there."
"We'll have to talk to whoever was in charge of not letting little punks steal my fucking product."

"They're definitely little. As in they're young. Body language and attitude says it all." They were acting like a bunch of kids pulling a prank. They hopped around, high fived and they just moved around in a sort of childish fashion. Right now to one of them running with his arms a bit open, like a fucking airplane. They were just kids having fun and making some quick cash. Fuck them.
He paused the kid and frowned, unable to see behind their masks.
"They're kids and I bet they're new to all of this. Odds are, they're probably patsies. They're deal it on to another gang, we'll find them and kill them and the other gang gets away with it. Some groups have been trying this technique lately." And it worked. It was the most frustrating to know that someone was working for another group and that group could do easily get away with it.
"We have to find them before they meet their buyer."

"Cool. I've been feeling like hanging out on playgrounds." Yoongi leaned forward and rewound the tape a little, eyes narrowed as he tried to make out basically anything that could give them even a point of reference. Damn it. "Best bet is sending out the high alert for any pure stuff hitting the ground... I don't know, we can just hope that they try to sell any of it before they meet their buyer. Because you're right, Namjoon, they definitely didn't think of this themselves. They probably don't even know who they stole from."
Which really meant that he had to act swift, make a statement. He looked at J-Hope again finally, trying to figure out how to handle that part of things. Finally he sighed. "Until we've found my product and these punks, you get to pay me back with revenue. Additional 25% of everything."
That was steep and J-Hope whined immediately. "Suga! You know I can't afford that, I have to pay my people, I have to keep the club running."
"You could jack up the prices if you served better drinks," Yoongi suggested before downing his drink.
J-Hope made a face at him when he wasn't looking, then turned to look at Namjoon instead, mouthing 'please' while trying to look pitiful.

"Come on, 15%. We need this club. If you cripple it out of anger, it's worthless." He couldn't cut any less than ten percent but he didn't want to totally screw J-Hope over. They'd known each other for a long time and he didn't think the way to success was to screw someone over. Even if Yoongi did.
He often had to remind the other that keeping friends was an asset, not a burden.
Jerking his head to the side, he took Suga aside so he could talk quietly to him without J-Hope watching them with that puppy look. "We will punish J-Hope but not an the expensive of his business. That'd cost us in the end. Let's just say 15% for now and then if we find the stuff, we call it off. Okay?" That seemed a lot more reasonable than ruining someone's hard work. "Besides, how many times have we needed this place?"
Mostly for a quick drink or somewhere to beat someone up.

"He's just lucky I don't cripple him." Suga muttered it under his breath, but he did note that J-Hope flinched and, hey. There was that. He wasn't surprised that Namjoon took him aside, not even surprised by what he said. It made sense anyway and part of him had already counted on Namjoon being there to talk him down. It made for a good balance, he could seem ruthless and still be lenient. More or less.
So he finally just shrugged, shoved Namjoon back a little and looked at J-Hope again. That man really did scare too easily. "10%. Until I find my stuff. And try to find security that actually does their job."
"Aw, Suga, you still love me!" J-Hope was as obvious in his relief as he was in his panic, grinning and making a heart sign, then bowing to Namjoon in thanks when Suga rolled his eyes and turned away.

"Don't fuck up again. And seriously, get better security. If you need money to hire better people, just talk to me." Namjoon was always the more personable person. He was the one people went to for issues and problems, especially when bothering Yoongi could get them killed. "If you learn anything new about the break in, call me."
Namjoon offered a small smile before hurrying to catch up to Yoongi, knowing that the other was going to be in a really bad mood today. God help anyone who crossed him. God help those idiotic kids. They were dead. They were as good as dead right now.
"I'll put the word out. I'll even offer a reward. Anyone who can bring us those punks, they get a nice sum for their efforts."
That seemed like the best way to chase out the thieves.

"You want to take a wild guess how many twinked out little punks are running around right now looking like they could be them? You put the wrong kind of word out and we'll be stuck checking out twinks the next three days." Which, well, there were worse ways to pass the time, but he didn't think it'd be very effective. Yoongi looked at Namjoon as they walked down the hallway, heading for the exit. "Whatever we do, word can't get out about someone stealing from me. Not only could that actually put those stupid punks on alert if they have any connections at all, but it makes us look weak."
A job like that, pulled by amateurs? Yeah, he couldn't let wind of that get out to anyone before he resolved the situation. "We need to be subtle. Somehow."

"You know. They're young, they're likely dumb and they probably live in the area so... we could always use Kookie." He knew that Jungkook was brash and impulsive, sometimes very hard to work with but overall, he was the right age range, the right kind of guy and likely he'd get further than they would in a much subtler way. "He could go around, check out the young drug dealers and get back to use. Probably even lure the punks over."
That was honestly their best bet if they wanted to catch them.

"...good point." Yoongi was lowkey annoyed that Namjoon was making a good point when he was so annoyed that he just wanted to shoot down everything and maybe find someone he had a reason to have beat up, but obviously he knew that was immature, so he just gave a nod and reached into his pocket. "I'll text him to come meet us. You get the tape from J-Hope, maybe Jungkook will recognise something if he sees it."
There was a chance, he knew Jungkook had a good memory. While he got into the car, he texted Jungkook, deciding where they should even meet.
come to my office
Might as well, this was official business.

"I'm on it." Namjoon ran back, collected the tape and made sure to got Yoongi to the car without hurting anyone. And he tried not to keep being smart and level headed because he sensed Yoongi would end up punching him. And not for the first time. They loved each other but even they'd had a few fights before.
on my way, boss man
When they finally arrived at the office, they pretty much met Jungkook there. The kid was sitting around, looking bored and waiting for the older boys to show up. "Yoongi-hyung! Namjoon-hyung!"

"Hey." Yoongi liked Jungkook, he liked him quite a lot actually. But since Jungkook wasn't a little kid anymore and he was supposed to be in charge and all that, he simply gave a nod with something that could at least be interpreted as a smile before sitting down in his chair and pushing his laptop over at Namjoon, so he could set things up to play the tape.
He looked at Jungkook, figuring he should explain at least a little. "Two masked punks stole from me. They seem like amateurs, young, childish and idiotic. You're young at least, so maybe you recognise them."

"They're masked. How am I going to recognise them?"
"Well, there's a few things off about their look. One of them has a patch on his coat and you can kind of see glimpses of their hair under the hats. Clearly dyed." No one in Korea was naturally blond, okay? Bullshit. He cued up the tape and then sat down next to Jungkook, the younger boy intently studying it.
He always wanted to do good. He always wanted Suga to approve of him and want him around. He'd always hero worshipped him a little. "Huh... I mean... Maybe? I think-- I think I have some ideas?"

"Tell me." Good boy. He felt oddly like patting his head, but dismissed that as being stupid and definitely a result of spending too little time with Min Holly. Whatever, he could find another way to reward him. "If you help me find them, you can come along while I sort the situation out."
Sure, there were a lot of people who'd have rather been rewarded with hard cash or something along those lines, but Yoongi knew Jungkook quite a bit. "You have any suspects in mind?"

"I could be wrong but there's these two kids I heard some other gangs complaining about before, they steal shit all the time. Joyride bosses cars and stealing cash from anywhere they can get it. I don't know the names but I think they live near Goto mall where the old projects are?" All battered buildings and deserted homes. There was a whole property crash in that area, a lot of gangs took up the spare buildings but the warehouses were usually up for grabs.
"The patch on the coat I've seen spray painted near there and the hair -- I mean, one of them dances. He's a street dancer and I'm pretty sure he's blond... or grey. I could be wrong." He didn't want to let Yoongi down if he was wrong but he looked up at him, so hopeful and eager to come with him. "But I'll help in any way I can, hyung."

"Sounds like a solid lead." Better than anything they had so far, anyway. Yoongi leaned back and thought, while checking his watch. "We need to make a move tonight, Namjoon. If they have a buyer ready, it might already be too late anyway. I mean, if it was me and I'd used two kids like that, I'd let them be killed once I have the merch."
Not that he operated like that in the first place, but just logically speaking it was the safest way to play it. "How many men can we get ready? Aside from Jungkook."
Because he was already a given, obviously.

"I dunno. A few, maybe. Me and Jungkook, probably a few of the boys outback but last minute? A lot of them are tied up with other business."
"It's two punk kids, we can handle that alone!"
"If someone is coming to meet them, we risk a shoot out so we really can't. We can go in alone but we can't go alone, yeah?" Namjoon liked to educate Jungkook as they went, to challenge his critical thinking and get rid of his impulsive desires. He had a feeling that one day, Jungkook would be a very capable boy. He intended to nurture that. "I'll go round some people up. Jungkook, get a location for me, yeah?"
Jungkook nodded and pulled out his phone.

"I'd need some of that premium coke right about now." It was a joke, Yoongi wasn't stupid enough to get addicted to his own product, but he sure could use the energy boost. Whatever, he was sure adrenaline would kick in once he actually had those little punks to deal with. He looked at his watch again, then over at Namjoon. "If we find them, do we have anywhere to store them until tomorrow? I haven't slept in twenty-two hours."
Sleep could come before torture. The time sensitive issue here was tracking the boys down.

"Yeah, we got places. We have the basement here and the meat locker down town... though they might die over night. Tragic." Namjoon didn't like killing kids but they really should not have stolen from Yoongi. This was not going to end well and he'd accepted that before shit began to kick off. "I'll get some people together, Jungkook can brief them while we finish off the rest of our business and tonight, we catch some punks."
Jungkook grinned and raised his arms. "I'm excited to hurt people!" What? Why lie? He really was.

That this was terrifying was an understatement. Part of Tae almost appreciated how they hit all the beats though, right down to where they actually hung them up in a meat locker. He was scared, he was in pain and he had no idea how they'd survive, but at least this was really epic.
The rope was tied so tightly around his wrists that he couldn't even attempt to move his hands, so he doubted he'd wriggle free this way. However, the duct tape over his mouth was already coming loose and he tried to subtly rub it off against his arm, since he wasn't sure whether anyone was watching them. When he was finally able to talk again, he whispered to Jimin, moving a little on the tips of his toes to turn so he could face him.
"Jiminie?" He paused, then asked. "How's it hanging?"

"I don't know who they are," Tae admitted, "Pretty sure the guy in charge stayed in the car." Not that he knew whether he'd have been able to recognise him. "We must have pissed them off somehow." That much was obvious. "But Jiminie! You can't admit to anything, okay? We're innocent."
He had no idea what the best way to even have any chance of surviving this was, but he figured this might be the best way to play it. His teeth were chattering and he breathed out, just to see how foggy his breath would be. Damn. No wonder he couldn't feel his fingers anymore.
"...maybe we'll just freeze to death." Was that the plan? That seemed very anticlimactic. "I was hoping they'd at least do concrete on our feet or something."

"Why are you calling him 'sir'? He looks our age." If not younger. Logically Tae of course knew that it was smart to respect anyone holding a gun, no matter the age, but he just couldn't help himself some time.
Instead he just looked him over with interest, focusing on his curiosity more than his fear. Not that he wasn't afraid, he just tried to push it back for now, instead even attempting a smile. "Nice jacket."
He'd love to have a jacket right about now.
