"That'd be nice. Usually me and Tae watch stuff on the phone Namjoon gave us." They gathered around it, watching dumb youtube stuff as they ate their noodles or whatever they worked out how to make. The apartment they'd been given had a small kitchen area but it wasn't overly used and it was pretty messy. He kind of hoped that Tae was okay with him moving out - he didn't want to upset his friend.
He threw the toy to Min Holly and then got to his feet, ready to assist wherever he was needed. He was a good worker! "Can I help?"
"Get the rice into the bowls? They're above the sink." Yoongi didn't usually bother with a serving dish or anything, but Jimin was here, so it should be special. He put some kimchi into a bowl, then got a bigger bowl for the main dish and carried it all over to the couch table, so he could sit down next to Jimin and turn on the television.
Yoongi leaned forward to eat, making sure to press his leg against Jimin's. He wanted to be close to him. "So, you still like me? Even like this?"
Jimin dropped down next to Yoongi, put one of the bowls of rice in his lap and picked up a pair of chopsticks. He spread his leg out a little more and prepared to eat then Yoongi asked that question. He wasn't sure what he meant? He looked around the place as if something was different but it wasn't. Same old Yoongi, he was just more housely than gangstery right now.
"I always like you." That wasn't a lie. Not even a little bit. "It's always you, you're just more relaxed here. I like that a lot! It means you like me too."
"I like being relaxed, but you're right. It's not something I get to be a lot." Even with the people he was closest to, it wasn't as if he had much downtime to spend with them. Another thing that admittedly made having Jimin live here a more appealing idea. "Two more things, by the way. If you're with me, you won't have to work anymore. But I don't want you to get bored. So you could decide what you wanted to do with your time. Even just spend my money all the time, I hear that's what most do."
Honestly, most of the bosses seemed to just complain about their wives' and mistresses' spending habits. "And the other things... No flirting. I don't just say that because I'm jealous."
Although he was jealous. Possessive, at the very least.
"The thing is, when you're with me, that ties you to my rep. If people see you flirting... You know what I'm getting at."
"Can I still work sometimes though? I like it. I like Hobi. Maybe I could just hang out and spend money there! They have good food and drinks, I like the people. Most of then. Some of them suck." But that was just people in general. He liked the job, it gave him a lot of normalcy and he wasn't sure what he'd do without it. Probably spend more time with Tae, that was for sure.
"I guess I could game and have Tae over. Is Tae allowed over?" He really wanted his best friend around. "He likes puppies too."
Just so Yoongi knew that Min Holly was in safe hands.
"I won't flirt. I only did that the other day because you ignored me. And now we're together, it's all different." He didn't really want to flirt with anyone else. He was happy, content to be with Yoongi. And besides, he didn't want to hurt his rep. "I'll be a good boy, I promise."
"You can work, I guess? People might find it weird, but I don't care. You just do whatever you feel like doing. Within some reason." Yoongi shrugged his shoulders. "Hobi can keep an eye on you, if you need any guidance." J-Hope tended to know what he was doing, outside of stressful situations. "Tae can come over here, I guess. I'd prefer if he wasn't always around once I get home though. I can't relax around people. Other than you, I mean." He booped Jimin's nose, because who was going to stop him?
"I trust you, Jimin, I just wanted to let you know. We'd have to see how people react, but you might even have to tone down how you are with Tae. At least in public, I know you're close, I don't care if you hang all over him in private." But he didn't want his position to be weakened by rumours. It'd annoy him to no end, if nothing worse.
"I won't let him lurk around when you come back. Just me and Min Holly. The best there is." He had to be less hands on with Tae in public? Damn. That would be hard. He was hands on with everyone. He long off Hobi for a good two hour of his shift last Friday cause he felt like it, he wasn't sure how to refrain from his best friend. With a small sigh, he nodded his head.
"I can try my best! I-- I might make mistakes but I don't mean to. I want to be this right, I'll try to. I just touch everyone." And he had to stop doing that. "I can pretend to be someone I'm not if it keeps you strong and safe."
"I don't want you to have to do that, so... Just be yourself, Jimin, I know you're touchy with people." Yoongi didn't really begrudge him that one way or the other. "I don't want people to talk badly about you, but I'll just make sure they don't. It's just who you are, I'm sure they'll catch on to that. Just try to be less flirty, it should be fine." He hoped. "Anyway, if I hear anyone slandering your name, at least I have a good reason to kick their ass."
"Heh! My hero." He leaned over and kissed Yoongi's cheek gently, taking time to relish it and enjoy how close he got to me. He loved him, he truly did, and he was willing to make any sacrifice for him. "I will try my best and I won't flirt with anyone as long as I'm yours. And that's what I am - I'm yours. And you're mine."
