"I know he gave you that really cool watch." Tae had heard tell of it already and he looked at it now, pointing it out to Jimin before properly focusing on the game just in time and doing a very bad version of a stage whisper. Eh, whatever. "They say that it was over a hundred k!" He couldn't even imagine that much money, but he liked the idea of that being the case. Made him feel fancier just being here.
"You deserve it though. I'm still mad at you, Jungkook." He kept following Jungkook's instructions, actually quite good at video games. "I told you to take care of yourself and you went ahead and got shot."
"Like you care, dumbass." Jungkook laughed and stuck out his tongue, feeling a lot more at easy. He'd been sulking earlier, this helped a little. To hang out and have company who he didn't feel like he was holding up. Yoongi and Namjoon didn't have time to sit with him, even if he really wanted them too. These two definitely did. "I couldn't let the boss get hurt and besides, nothing makes you more untouchable than surviving a gunshot. I'm truly unstoppable."
"It must have hurt a lot." Jimin mostly just thought of Yoongi crying and it broke his heart a little. He did shuffle forward to look at the watch though. Jungkook pulled his sleeve back and smiled.
"It's a beauty, right? It's my reward for -- oh! Shit! That little bastard shot me. Go run him over, Tae." Stupid game.
"I totally care," Tae said in the world's most uncaring voice, partially for the joke and partially because he was focused on the game. He leaned forward and then just nodded when Jungkook told him what to do, smirking. "You got it, boss."
He was so taking him down. He took him down slightly more than he needed to, shooting repeatedly at what was definitely a corpse. Ah, well. "That's what I'm going to do with Cheon when we find him."
"Cheon is a dick, we'll get him. If we don't, Yoongi will. He wants that bastard dead. I don't know where the hell he's hiding. Probably hooked up with some chick and he's crashing at hers." Jungkook suggested as he shot down someone trying to sniper Tae and swiftly stole a nearby buggy, intent on running anyone nearby now. "I really wanted to kill him above all, even before he shot me. Like I told you during torture, he's a real scumbag."
"He really, really is." Jimin agreed. He had like Cheon at first, he was charming. And then he wasn't. His stomach still churn a little, wondering if Cheon was ever going to emerge. The sooner he was dead, the better. "I'm sorry he hurt you."
"He's the worst. I'm sorry that he was with you, Jiminie. I shouldn't have let him." No, there hadn't been anything he could have done and he had done everything possible or he might not ever have gotten to see Jimin again, but the thought still gave him the creeps anyway. "He's a huge jerk, but I bet he'll die soon. Min Yoongi wants him dead so badly and everyone knows it. When you were still in hospital, I think he only talked when it was about killing him."
Definite exaggeration, but he thought it was close enough anyway. He followed Jungkook in the game, then ran ahead to draw some people out so they could both gun them down. He loved this stuff, he couldn't wait until Namjoon would let him use an actual gun.
"Good, he should die." Jungkook leaned back in his seat, laughing as Tae took down some people, getting some hilarious shots in. "Oh man, he fell butt up. That's hilarious." He was easily amused, as most boys were playing these games. He meeled the body and turned to Tae, giving him an approving look. "You should come over more, we could game. I've been kind of bored lately."
And, to seal the deal, he picked the right words. "Shoot guns with me here while I heal so when I get better, we can shoot guns on the job."
Tae's eyes lit up, as happy as ever when someone actually wanted to spend time with him. The guns were an added bonus, no doubt. Of course, he already had to go that step further. "Do I get to shoot your gun?"
"Nice try but hell no. Stick to the in-game guns."
And with that, Jungkook friendly fired at Tae's feet and ran off in the other direction. "Come on and catch me, you little bitch." Oh man, Tae was actually pretty fun. When did that happen? Whatever.
