"I like to play." Jimin told him happily as he started to button up his shirt, standing in front of Yoongi with a small little smile. He knew he was being obvious but he didn't care. Yoongi was handsome and he might not horribly beat him after sex so he may just be his best lay ever if he was to even get there. "I spent too long not having any fun. Makes life worth nothing to not play."
Namjoon exhaled and shook his head, giving the kid a small playful push. "Hell no, you're not touching my gun. You'd shoot your damn toe off or something." And he wasn't going to be responsible for that. "We're still looking for the people but we think we know who the rat is. We're about 90% sure. But if it is who we think it is... it's going to get tricky."
The potential rat was pretty tied in with the Dark Dragons. That'd start a war.
"Yeah?" Yoongi looked at him and hated how much he wanted to reach out and touch him. He wondered what his bottom lip might feel like. He wanted to run a finger along that. Maybe nip it, definitely lick it. It was a nice thought and one that might haunt him into his dreams. He shook his head finally, exhaling slowly. "I don't have time to play, kid."
"Can I at least see it? Pleeeease! The only time I've ever seen a gun was when people pointed them at me and then I couldn't really focus. Too scared." He thought for a moment, then pointed at Yoongi. "Min Yoongi scared me the most." If he had to rank them. "It's how I remember that he's scary." Well, he always seemed a little scary, but he was also kind of short and often seemed tired, so it was important to remember. "What makes it so tricky?"
Tae was honestly just curious. He wanted to know how things worked. "Can't you just kill him?"
"Really? That's a shame. I'm fun to play with." Jimin giggled a playful little giggle and shoved Yoongi on the shoulder. Such a bold and playful move, not a way that most would address a mob boss but Jimin sensed that he could do it. He knew that Yoongi was interested and he was probably not going to hurt him. Not yet, anyway. "If you ever change your mind... I don't have a lot going on. We could play!"
Namjoon pulled out his gun and put the safety on, being very careful as he showed Tae from a distance. He even took a few steps back, just to be safe. "It's a glock, pretty standard. I have nicer guns but this one does the job and it's easy to carry. You should ask J-Hope to see his guns some time." His collection was insane.
"And no, we can't just kill him. Unfortunately. It's complicated."
"Don't touch me." It was supposed to be a warning, but Yoongi hated that it came out just a little bit breathy. Of course he really wanted Jimin to touch him, he'd have just hoped he was better at hiding it. He sighed in frustration with himself, looking over at Namjoon to focus on literally anything else and raising his eyebrows when he saw him with the gun. All right then.
"It looks cool though, hyung! I liked Jungkook's too." He didn't like being threatened with it, but it looked pretty cool. "Who's J-Hope? I'll ask him." Of course he would. "If we ever get out of here." He sighed dramatically, falling back against Jimin.
"Yes. I'm a a monster for keeping you locked up here."
Jimin taught Tae and cuddled around him, clearly eager for touch and trying not to be too bothered by Yoongi. The way he said those words, it turned him on a lot and now he was just horny. Fantastic. That was just what he wanted. He wished he could do something to get Yoongi to open up but it seemed like a dangerous game. For now, he just held onto Tae.
"You guys have to stay safe for a few. Once we expose the rat, you're free to pretty much do as you want. Within reason. They'll still want to kill you but you've got us. That's something." Namjoon put his gun away and turned to look at Yoongi... who looked kind of red and flustered. Huh. What did he miss?
"What do we do after the rat is exposed?" It seemed like a fair question.
"Then you can work for us. Seems like the best option."
"We will see about it," Yoongi said, since he was not quite ready to have Namjoon have the last word here. Especially since he was beginning to suspect that the smartest move would be to keep Jimin at a safe distance from him. "You'll be taken care of, either way."
"I'd be really good as a gangster," Tae was quick to assure them, having decided it was his ideal career path. Even though he had only just now found out it was an option. "I'm really good at stealing and I can totally beat people up. Namjoon-hyung, I'd do a really good job! You have to tell Min Yoongi, he won't believe me."
"I think you can make people beat you up." Not that much of a required talent.
"I think Tae could be fine. He could shadow me a little. We do need a person to handle deliveries when Kookie is busy so it's not the worst idea." Namjoon had a soft spot for this one, he didn't mind playing around with him and teaching in the ropes. The way he looked at him, those puppy eyes? Yeah, he was weak to them. "But it's up to Yoongi in the end. He's the big boss. We respect him, we don't make demands."
The most important first lesson.
Jimin frowned and put his hands in his pockets, trying not to think about how beautiful Yoongi's voice was. "What about me? I want to work with you too. I could do really well."
"Uh, yeah, look, maybe you could help out Hobi." He really didn't want to give the crazy kid a gun.
"I'll think of something for you to do." So, that was supposed to come out as dismissive. Somehow, when looking at Jimin, that was not how it actually ended up. Oh, fuck that, he had to stop this before he started to sound even more like a porn version of himself. He looked at Namjoon and shrugged. "You're right. Hobi or something, he might like that. Lots of things to do in a club."
"Jimin could be a stripper, he's good at that." Tae bragged for his friend, still feeling elated over the compliment Namjoon was paying him by trusting him so much. Just by trusting him with anything. He wasn't used to that. "He's good at a lot of things."
As sexy as Yoongi sounded, he was a little distracted by Namjoon rejecting him. Unless the other plan was fucking, he really didn't like this.
"Yeah but you know, we should be careful and rookies are--"
"You think I'm crazy so you don't want me holding a gun." Tip-toeing around it was pointless. If he just thought that he was too hot to work, he'd weirdly be less offended than he was right now. That he could accept. That he was okay with. It wasn't cool to treat him like he couldn't handle a gun. "What if I don't want to work in a club and I want to stick with Tae? We're partners."
"The club is a solid place to work, Hobi is great. No stripping." Namjoon enforced, giving Tae a sideways look. He was really not helping.
"I don't trust either of you with a gun," Yoongi just thought it prudent to point that out, "I barely trust Namjoon with a gun. First person he ever shot was by accident." Well, it was true. The bastard was supposed to die anyway, but still.
He pushed the hair back from his face and straightened up, seeing that Jimin was genuinely upset. "If you are serious about this and I decide that I'm fine with it, you'd receive training with a gun. Either way, it'd depend on what you're suited for and where I need people. If you think I'd rather have someone crazy in a club than doing lackey work that's your problem. I don't think you're crazy. Not any crazier than most people, anyway."
"I did, it's true. I slipped, fell and made a perfect headshot. That's how I got my job." Namjoon explained to Tae as he reached out and put an arm around him, smiling playfully. "That and I was the bosses best friend. BFF, if you will. But look, he ain't wrong. I am worried about both of you and you'll both be trained. We'll see where you guys end up."
He just had a feeling that Tae would easily take to this work and Jimin would rather entertain at a club. He could be wrong but he was pretty sure.
"I will prove myself." Jimin bowed and then straighten up, looking at Yoongi with a soft smile. "I will appreciate any work you can offer me. And I promise the only place I'll be crazy is the bedroom."
"If you ever call yourself my bff again, I will kill you." Yoongi just thought he would inform him of that, even though the whole thing mostly just made him roll his eyes and worry that he'd get a BFF bracelet any day now.
Whatever else he might have said, he forgot all about it when Jimin just went ahead and said that. Tae coughed, choking on nothing, his eyes wide. Yoongi's face was a lot harder to read, but finally he just shook his head.
"I don't care what you do in the bedroom." He breathed out through his nose slowly, then turned to Namjoon. "Anything else or can we go?" Namjoon had been the one eager to check up on them. He should have waited outside.
"I mostly bounce on the bed and watch stuff on my phone! It gets crazy." Jimin laughed and blushed, turning his head to the side and going all bashful school boy. He really was two people rolled into one. He dropped back onto the bed and sat there, smiling innocently at Yoongi.
"Yeaaaah, we should give you this before we go." Namjoon tore his eyes away from that scene and pulled out a burner phone, handing it to Tae. "There's no internet but there's some minutes and texting. You can hit me up if you ever get in danger and we'll keep checking in. Be safe, you little punk."
Namjoon turned and gave Jimin a look two. "Both of you."
Tae gave a thumbs up while looking through the phone already, trying to see if there were any games on it. Well, he hadn't had a proper phone in the while, even if that was just a burner.
He did bow to Namjoon and Yoongi when they left, even if Yoongi didn't even glance at either of them again, but Tae could definitely see how heated he looked. So once the door closed, he immediately dropped down next to Jimin, smirking.
"He so wants you. It's obvious."
Outside, Yoongi looked at Namjoon before heading down the hallway. "Not a word."
"I know. I can't help playing but I think one day, I am definitely going to get myself burned." It was pretty dumb but he couldn't help himself. After all, it was pretty funny. Yoongi had such a cute, breathless voice. He hoped one day he could make him cry out in pleasure, even if it was just a one night stand.
Namjoon tried his best not to laugh as he followed behind Yoongi.
"Aw, why? I don't think he'd hurt you. I know he's scary and a gangster, but he doesn't seem all that violent outside of that. It's probably all business to him, he wouldn't be violent." Tae had no way of telling, but there was a different vibe with Yoongi. He had gotten very good at identifying when a guy wanted to harm Jimin. Unfortunately he had had a lot of reason to hone that skill.
"I don't think he'll hurt me in that way." Jimin liked him. Really liked him. He had a pretty smile and he was unobtainable. If he fell for him, he was going to lose his mind trying to get him. Still, he tried to stay positive. He laughed and turned his head, wrapping an arm around Tae and looking at the phone. "Woah, that's a nice phone!" He'd never seen one like that. Or owned one. Not really. "Namjoon likes you!"
"In what way then?" Tae frowned, intrigued and a little confused, before it finally dawned on him. "Ohhh, you like him." Well. He understood why what was an issue. "I didn't know! I thought you just wanted to play." That was a different situation. He didn't know if someone like Yoongi really ever dated, but he was fairly certain that the answer was 'no'.
Better to focus on the phone, perhaps. He held it out to Jimin and smirked. "I think he likes us both. I don't know why, we're little shits. I just wanna know when Jungkook will come visit."
"I dunno. I just want to play around, I don't know if I feel anything. But if I did feel anything then I'd be careful. That's all. He seems interesting. And handsome." And he looked so intense and interesting. He wanted to hug him or touch him properly, those warning words rung out in his head and made his dick hard. God damn it.
Focusing on the phone was better. "Do you really want him to visit? He beat you to a pulp. I don't like him. He's mean."
"I don't know. I just like the idea of him not being allowed to beat me up this time. If Namjoon is there, maybe he even has to be nice to me." It was a pretty mild power fantasy, as power fantasies went, but Tae wasn't really used to having anyone care about him one way or another. The fact that Namjoon honestly seemed to was honestly something he still couldn't quite accept, but it was certainly something to marvel at. "Do you think you'd want to do it? Be a gangster? If they let us. I think I could be good at it."
"I don't know. I never wanted to be anything really, I didn't think about it." He mostly wanted to have fun and do what they did before but he doubted that was an option or a future they could sustain. He looked at Tae and rested his chin on the other's shoulder, puppy dog eyes and all. "Do you think maybe we could keep on having fun if we're gangsters? I like stealing cars and painting the town. Literally. I want to keep doing it but ... I guess we need money. You'd be a really good gangster but you can't stop being fun."
"I know, I know, that's a lot of fun, but we almost died. I think we got really lucky and you could have been in so much trouble." He wrapped his arms around Jimin and smiled, trying to cheer him up. "You know I'm always going to be fun! Don't insult me. And, hey, if you just play a little with Min Yoongi, I bet we can keep having a lot of money just by that. Or if it's not Min Yoongi, maybe you find someone else you like. Lots of handsome men around, right?"
There certainly seemed to be in this group. "You don't have to do any work. I can work for both of us and then we just have time whenever I'm free."
"I should work but getting into trouble with you is fun." Jimin had to laugh, the first time they got into trouble, he cried and freaked out but as the months past, trouble just got laughter and smiles from him. The act of rebellion filled a need of wanting and freedom that just made him feel good. He nuzzled Tae and settled comfortably against him. "If you become a gangster and get a cool gun, I can play with it sometimes, right? I promise I won't tell anyone I did."
He just really wanted to play around. "And you have to buy me pretty things."
"Of course. I'll buy us both pretty things." Tae had already decided on that, always, no matter what would become of them. Whatever he had, he wanted to share with Jimin. "We can get into trouble when I'm off work." He had already readily accepted that he'd be the only one working, probably indulging Jimin too much, but that was hardly news. "I hope they can resolve things soon. I like it here, but I want to live properly again, you know?"
"Oh yeah. We could get an apartment together, if we have a job. Not like the warehouse, just our own space. With a bigger bed! And a TV and a giant wardrobe." They usually shared a bed, would they still share a bed if they could afford not to have to? Jimin liked to share a bed. Even if it was with his best friend. "We could cook too. Or learn to cook. I could learn! Oh, we could make cookies and rice and stuff. It'll be so cool. It'll be all our own too."
