"Bye! Bye, Jiho-hyung! Learn a lot!" Tae waved to Jiho until he couldn't see him any more, then he closed the door and immediately pouted. He wanted to go! He was at a disadvantage. He knew why he wasn't allowed to go and he was still hurting a lot, but he missed his friends!

He walked over to the couch and sat down on it, looking saddened as he leaned back and sighed. How much longer until Jiho came back!?

Namjoon had booked the day off from work because Yoongi had to work today and someone had to stay with TaeTae. Luckily Ten had agreed to sub for him last minute... although he was very concerned what was going to happen today but tomorrow he'd be back and Yoongi could take over Tae-watching duty.

He sat down by Tae and looked at the small boy, stroking his hair back. "What's a matter, TaeTae? Do you miss Jiho?"

"Uh-huh. Is he coming back soon?" Yes, he had literally just left, but he missed him! He needed his brother. He knew Jiho was happy to go back to school and see Jin, but selfishly he had wanted to keep him here. They had had so much fun the last few days! Tae sighed and looked at Namjoon, frowning.

"Am I bad for wanting him to stay with me?" He didn't want to be a bad boy!

"No, I think that's normal. I'd miss my brother if I had to stay at home all day without him. He'll be home in six hours... that's a long time so you can't just pout the whole time. It's boring." Namjoon wondered what they could do that was safe, wouldn't knock Tae about or strain him and would keep him interested. "Do you want to do something with me? We could go outside on a walk or we could-- paint?"

Did Yoongi had paint? Maybe. Maybe not. Hmm. "Or colour in or ... maybe not baking. I can't bake. I make a mess."

"I make messes always! I can't do kitchen stuff well. Hyung is good!" Tae laughed a little, holding his sides as he thought about it. "I like art. Ten-hyung said I'm an artist! Like Van Gogh." Just a name he found funny enough that he had memorised it. Most of the words he memorised sounded fun to him, that was why he did it.

"Do we have art stuff?" Tae looked around curiously. "Can you do it too?"

"I'm not very arty, unfortunately. I should take you to an art museum and you could see real Van Gogh. We could do it this weekend, take Jiho too." Namjoon suggested as he reached out and gently picked up Tae, handling him with care. What a tiny boy, he needed taking care of. He carried him over to Yoongi's office supplies and looked around.

"We need to buy some kids stuff... we should really get you an art set, huh?" Yoongi didn't have a lot of craft stuff but then, why would he?

"Maybe if I just have a pencil, I can try drawing some pokemon? I can colour them in later!" Tae was used to not having good supplies and working with what he could get, given their state at home. "Appa said art is a waste of time and he never wanted to see any of my pictures."

Of course, appa smelled. They had established that. "But we could go to a real museum?! That is soooo cool!" His eyes were wide. "I wanna do that! Can we? With hyung."

"We'll buy you an art set when you feel better and you can go out more." Setting Tae on the floor, he pulled out a load of paper and a pencil, lying on the floor next to him so he could watch him draw. "You know what I think? I think your appa was reaaaaaaaaaally dumb. I met him. He didn't get why are is cool or the piano so clearly he's dumb. Dumb and smelly."

He smiled playfully at Tae and then looked at what he was drawing. "Draw a pokemon for me. I would love a special Tae drawing. I'll hang it up." Maybe next to his boyfriend certificate. "We can definitely go this weekend, all four of us."

"Okay! Should I make up a pokemon or draw eevee?" Seemed like the two obvious choices, because right now, eevee was his favourite. Even if he loved all of them! Eevee was so cute though. "I always think that appa is dumb too, cause... He always said that my hyung is stupid and my hyung is not stupid at all! He's the smartest and bestest and he knows how to answer all the questions I ask!"

So, clearly, no one could be smarter than his hyung. "He will like the museum too... I hope." He didn't want to do something if Jiho wouldn't like it. "Do you think he will?"

"Draw me eevee, you're a lot like an eeevee, you're definitely as cute." With a smile, he watched Tae start to work, kind of amused by how seriously the kid took it. He really was a little artist. He was going to get him all manner of coloured crayons and pencils, he deserved it. "Jiho is a very smart boy, he's just struggling in some things cause nobody helped him. Now that me and Yoongi help him, he does really well."

He was a solid C student. Which was a vast improvement. "I think Jiho loves going anywhere with you. He loves you a lot, huh?"

"I'm smart too! But I am smart cause I have hyung. Hyung always helps me." It all added up. Tae just wanted to make sure that he wouldn't be called stupid either. He did like being called cute. Reaching out, he got his eevee plushie and petted it, whispering so it would know that it was a model and had to hold still. He set the plushie down and then started drawing, his tongue peeking out a little.

"Uh-huh! Hyung loves me so much, cause I'm his little piece of eomma and him and eomma were good friends."

"Then you're very special, aren't you? Such a sweet boy too. I'm glad I got to meet you, I heard a lot about you. Hobi and Ten told me you were so smart." Namjoon pulled out his phone, checking museum opening times as Tae drew and sending Yoongi texts about it and also little love notes. Okay. Like four little love notes that turned into an essay but it was hard not to.

"Let me know if you want a snack or anything."

"Uh-huh." Tae nodded his head. Then he frowned. "Can we snack?" He wanted to. Snacks were fun. He loved being fed! Like Yoongi's eomma did and also Jiho did it and Namjoon and even Yoongi and also Jiminie did it in kindergarten. it was the best. "Hyung, how did you meet Yoongi-hyung?" He was curious. "Cause my hyung has met Jin-hyung and he will marry him later, cause they are meant to be."

It had been decided. "Did you meet him in school too?"

"Kinda. I was a teacher and he just started to play music. We started hanging out cause we liked the same music and we had some students in common." Namjoon explained as he got up to get some snacks out. Luckily Yoongi left some kimbap behind for them to eat. He came over and slowly, he set the plate down and held one out for Tae.

"We didn't know each other that long, maybe a year now? We've been very close ever since though. He's my best friend and my boyfriend." Losing him would be awful. Not just losing a boyfriend but someone he genuinely liked and admired.

"Uh-huh. I only know Jiminie since we started school, but I would die without him!" And he was a bit overly dramatic, but what else was new? Tae ate the kimbap that was held out and chewed happily, in spite of his statement just now. "But I think Yoongi is a good boyfriend, so you picked well." He nodded his approval.

"You are cute too, cause you can talk without saying anything. Do you know magic?"

Huh. What? Namjoon frowned and looked at Tae, wondering what he meant. "How do I talk without saying?" He was kind of curious because Tae said a lot of weird stuff but he never knew what he was getting at. He picked up his kimbap and took a big bite, wondering if he could convince Yoongi to make him a batch every day. Especially since now they were official and all.

"I mighhhhht know magic but that's a secret."

"Like... You look at him and then he answers, like you asked a question? Or you stop saying something in the middle and he just... He knows?" It was weird! But cool. Tae really liked it. "I think you two can read thoughts! Can you read my thoughts too or only Yoongi-hyung's?"

Tae was curious, so he looked at Namjoon and waited to be wowed. "Is that the magic?!"

"No, it's just ... when you meet someone and they're your soulmate, you sort of understand them perfectly in a way you don't always understand other people. Yoongi knows what I'm thinking cause we're meant to be." Namjoon explained, smiling a little. "It's love magic, very hard to do with anyone else but your true love. I can't read your mind."

Though reading minds would be an awesome power. Or a terrible one. Depends what he'd hear. "You'll get it one day when you meet your true love."

"Uh-huh." Tae could believe that. "I know Jiminie's thoughts a lot, but that's cause usually he thinks that I'm being a cute baby and sometimes he is angry cause things go wrong." He knew his little friend very well by now.

"Can I be there when you and Yoongi-hyung get married? Cause you are like my appas now." So he would have to be there! "There should be flowers... I think you should have a yellow flower and Yoongi-hyung..." Huh. "Are there black flowers?"

"Of course you'll be there. If we're your appas then you have to be there. It's not a wedding without you and Jiho, is it? It's just... blergh." Namjoon pulled a face and then leaned over, curiously looking at how much Tae had drawn so far. For his age, he was actually really good. Ten was on to something, he was a little artist. "I think we would forgo flowers, neither of us is a flower sort of guy. Maybe petals. Then you can throw them down the aisle."

Kids loved to do stuff like that. "But we won't get married for a while yet. We only just became official boyfriends."

"Yeah, but Yoongi-hyung's eomma told him to not let you get away and that means you'll be married." Cause boys always had to listen to their eommas, he knew that. Tae adjusted his eevee plushy a little so he could get a better look of the tail. He really hoped his drawing would look a little cool too.

"Did you have other boyfriends first, Joonie-hyung? How did you know they weren't your true love?"

"I had one boyfriend but he always told me to dress different and be different. He didn't love me for who I am and I was just looking for someone who wanted me, not someone who loved me. Now I know I should look for love." He had just escape his dad and he was looking for easy validation - he got that from Seohyun at least. He just wished he'd had a better boyfriend like Yoongi then.

"You know you have true love when they love you and you love them and there's no doubt."

"And you have no doubt with Yoongi-hyung? Never ever?" Tae was asking innocently, just really curious. "It's like in the dramas, is it? Like... Does the music happen and the cool petals and all that when you look at him?" It was what he knew about love, there was no reason not to take it as fact.

"I bet it's like that for Yoongi-hyung, cause you are really handsome!"

"... I mean yeah, basically. I had doubts but my doubts are all gone these days. I have the best hyung and I'm happy he wants to be with me. And he does look really hot." Just saying. Ten was right when he said he had big dick energy cause he really did. Hot, confident badass... who was a soft, shy little noodle sometimes but, well, people were complex.

"Woooooah, TaeTae, your drawing is amazing!"

"It is?" Tae sat up properly and giggled, reaching for eevee so it could have a look as well. "Did I draw you well, eevee? I can't colour in yet, but I made the lines!"

And, well. It was recognisable as an eevee, so for a five year old, that was saying something. "I wanna draw ALL pokemon." He had no idea how many there were, but since he was also the boy who wanted to know everything, volume didn't intimidate him.
