"Bargain. But no!" Jin crouched down to wrap his arms around Jimin and hug him close, trying to hold him back. "If you have ice cream now, you can't have desert tonight and there might be cake!"

Maybe not cake, but something good for sure. Eomma loved sweet stuff and so did appa, so dessert was always really, really good. "Chimmy can have dessert today too! But no ice cream now."

"But what if it's good to have ice cream?" Jimin pouted as he looked over at the truck. He wanted ice cream a lot but he knew that they had dessert and eomma told him off last time when he had candy before dinner. Still, how could he be denied such a wonderful thing.

"Eomma will be mad at me..." Jimin huffed and then turned around, hugging his brother and trying to climb up him. This was a terrible injustice, he demanded to be carried. "I want ice cream tomorrow cause I was all good today."

"I don't know, Jiminie. I don't think not breaking the rule you broke last time makes you good, just means you are not bad." Still, Jin held him in his arms and carried him readily. Luckily Jimin was pretty light. "But we can tell her and maybe we can have ice cream for dessert tomorrow? Like that one time we had ice cream cake, do you remember? Or the one inside the mochi, you really liked that."

"I think I was really good and you don't love me enough to say it." Jimin sulked as he looked over Jin's shoulder, looking longingly at the ice cream. "I think I should have been allowed a bite of ice cream." Just a teeny-tiny little bite. Is that so much to ask for? Just a bite! "I liked that cake a lot, I hope eomma makes it again. Last time I was having my me day."

Birthday, me day. Same thing. To him anyway. "Yoongi-hyung would buy me ice cream."

"You think so?" Jin laughed. "I think he couldn't, he'd have to buy EVERY student ice cream then and then he'd have no money left." He decided to just ignore some of what Jimin said, it was best to let eomma deal with the majority of the brattiness. "Anyway, I think... I think he has someone. I think my teacher and Yoongi-ssi are in love."

He giggled. Love was silly.

"The one with the classes? Ew. Do they kiss? That's icky." Jimin giggled at the idea of two people in love, burying his head against Jin. "Like eomma and appa, they kiss and it's all gross." At his age, the idea of kissing and love was just gross and ew. No one wanted that. "A boy in my class told me that a boy and a boy can't date and I said that he was wrong and smelly."

Jimin nodded to reaffirm his statement. "He was stupid."

"I think they kiss! It's sooo icky." And funny. Jin grinned and hugged Jimin close, nodding his head in agreement. Kissing was gross, although he supposed he would grow out of thinking that one day. It was weird to think about that. "Boys and boys can date. So can girls and girls and girls and boys. Eomma and appa say that anyone who likes each other can date. Maybe I'll date someone soon!"

What a fun thought. "What would you say if I dated someone?"

"They should be pretty cause you're pretty." Jimin mused. "And they should buy me ice cream and take me to the zoo." Because his boyfriend should want to spend a lot of time with him. He was cute and precious, he deserved the world. "I hope they're nice as well and that they like me. If they don't like me then they're a bad choice. Cause we're best friends."

And if Jin stopped hanging out with him or liking him, the world would end and everything would suck. "Girls are icky, date a boy."

"Why do you think girls are icky? Girls are pretty and they smell nice. Like eomma!" Jin was convinced that there wasn't a woman more beautiful than eomma in the world. No one was as beautiful as eomma! He loved his eomma a lot. "But don't worry, I wouldn't like them if they didn't like you. But we have to go on dates without you, cause that's how it works."

"I dunno. They are weird and they said I can't play with their dollies cause I'm a boy but I like dollies. Cars are booooring." And the girls said he was ruining their game and he couldn't play. He liked having Tae a lot now cause he didn't need a doll, Tae pretended to be his baby today! It was fun. "Why can't I come on the dates? I'll be really, really quiet!"

"Cause it's with just two people! Like in the movies. With the candles and we have to look at each other and not laugh." Seemed as if it was a challenge, really. "Ohh, we can have spaghetti, like in the dog movie." That could be fun, he loved spaghetti! Now he really wanted to have a date. "But I'll tell you all about it afterwards! One day you'll date too."

"Can you tell me every last bit cause otherwise, it's not the same." He considered his options and then held onto Jin a little tighter, careful not to drop Chimmy. "If you date a nice boy, you should make spaghetti and cut up hot dogs. Eomma makes that when I'm sick and it's my favourite in the whole wide world."

And any person wanting to date Jin would love it too. "It's Italian."

"I don't know if that's fancy enough... You are supposed to eat really fancy foods on dates, I think. Like when appa and eomma go on dates, do you remember the pictures they showed?" There had been very elegant chocolate decorations on the cakes and Jimin had pouted until he got a chocolate decoration like that too.

"But right now I am not in love with anyone, so I won't date. But maybe we can have spaghetti soon."

"I like when you cook for me. I don't like that eomma and appa go away and do stuff but I like when it's just us cause then we can play house." Deep down, despite all the clinginess, whining and brattiness, he just really loved Jin. He just wanted Jin to love him back the same amount. In his own annoying kid way. "You're appa and I'm your little baby."

And growing up was scary so he wanted it to stay that way.

"I'm hyung! I'm too young to be appa." Jin laughed and sat Jimin down, taking his hand again as he walked up the steps to their building. A lot of the people at their school had cars with drivers taking them to and from school, but their parents had decided that that was ridiculous when it was just a ten minute walk along a park and Jin agreed. He liked walking.

He bowed to the receptionist and smiled. "You should invite TaeTae over to play some time. You can ask appa and eomma if you're allowed to."

"I will and you can ask Jiho over to play so he's not lonely. And then you can date him." Jimin was muddled up from all of his discussions recently that his brain just went there. Boys are cute, Jin should date boys and Jiho was a boy - ergo, Jin should date Jiho. Jimin walked up the steps, bouncing a little with every step. "Then me and Tae can be brothers."

He dragged Chimmy up each step. "And we'll have cake cause dates have cake."

"Great. Good to know you have it all worked out. Take care of Chimmy, Jimin, or he will need a bath again." And that was a whole drama up until the point the toy finished drying and Jimin could have him in his arms once more. His brother was such a drama king. "Jiho is pretty though. I bet he'll have a great time in school, everyone loves musicians. He is so good when he plays piano. Jiminie, you have to be really nice to Tae, okay? Because he doesn't have an eomma any more."

"I know he doesn't but he has eomma kisses." Somehow. He wasn't sure how but Tae told him that his hyung said he had special eomma kisses. He picked Chimmy up and held him very carefully, snuggling him close with a worried expression. No, no one could wash Chimmy. He could not spend two hours away from his puppy!

"You be really nice to Jiho cause he also doesn't have an eomma. We'll be really nice boys. Eomma always says to be really nice boys always!"

"And eomma is always right." Jin waited for the lift doors to open, then let Jimin walk in first and lifted him up so he could press the buttons. He knew how to avoid the tears. "What are eomma kisses?" He was curious. Tae sounded like a fascinating little guy and he hadn't even met him yet.

"Do you think TaeTae will want to go to dance lessons with you?"

"They are kisses he has from eomma cause he is a little piece of her and he can give them to Jiho-hyung so he feels better." Tae was magic and Jimin was fascinated by him. He smiled goofily at Jin. "I want special eomma kisses to give to people too. I'm gonna ask eomma is I can keep some and then I can give them to Tae."

As the door was unlocked, Jimin snuggled against Chimmy. "Yeah. I told him he has to."
