"I'm sure he's great." Jin gave Namjoon the thumbs up, smiling. "Is your appa a good appa too? I bet he is."
"You need to give him more money!" TaeTae was immediately demanding, because... Well, Jungkook needed toys! He knew he had a notebook and some pencils, but that wasn't enough! He needed more. "He's so good! He makes really good food and then we can take home what's extra and I don't have to eat Joonie food."
Definite plus. Although sometimes Joonie food was exciting.
"I'm pretty sure you're budgeted for him, right? There's enough money?" Jin looked at Namjoon, not Tae. For obvious reasons.
"There is, I know. Tae is just a worrier." He waved his hand in dismissal, giving his boy an amused look. "Don't make demands, silly." Jungkook worried his lower lip and turned his head, looking at Jin with a small frown, hoping that he wasn't mad because Tae asked for more money. They were happy!
"My appa is the best appa. We don't need a lot of money, Seokjin-nim. We have cuddles and our own room. We watch a lot of TV."
"Well, who doesn't like TV?" Namjoon ruffled the boy's hair and then turned back to Jin, shrugging his shoulders. "It's under control. Yoongi is a great appa and we pay him well. Look, we'll take care of Siwoo and you can get off to work, yeah?"
Siwoo looked at appa, confused and concerned, holding up his hand. "Appa?"
"Appa has to go be beautiful for the cameras, sweetheart." Jin crouched down to take Siwoo's hand and then kiss his head. "I'll be back as soon as I can, but you have to take good care of Namjoon and Jungkook and TaeTae while I'm gone, yes? Then I'll pick you up and we go meet dada."
TaeTae hugged Siwoo, hoping he wouldn't cry this time. "We will play and nap and then appa will be back so soon!"
Siwoo didn't want appa to go so he started to whine and struggle. Luckily, Namjoon was used to this by now. He slipped a pacifier in his mouth and then held up whatever he had near him - this time? His keys. He jingle-jangled them and Siwoo fell quiet, making grabby hands at them and suitably distracted. Namjoon gave Jin a thumbs up, gesturing for him to go while Siwoo was easing up.
Jungkook watched him take the keys, shaking him and giggling, showing Tae how it worked. Jungkook giggled too. The baby was funny. "He's cute! He likes the noise. I like it too."
Jin quietly waved and then hurried off into his car, leaving them to it. Tae grinned, giggling as well.
"You are so good at it, Siwoo! Such a cool sound. We should play with the instruments!" Well, they had a few toy instruments for play time, so why not? Siwoo's father did music stuff, so it was good if he learned about it. Tae figured, anyway.
Yoongi walked up to Namjoon quietly, bowing his head. "Sorry. I'm not... I didn't know you knew Jin."
"It's okay, I put it together." Namjoon smiled up at him and looked kind of apologetic. "I didn't even think, you two were in the same class, yeah? He was a friend of mine at school for a brief time, then he went to study in New Zealand and when he came back, we just sort of got really close again. He pretty much keeps this place funded."
Siwoo gurgled excitedly in Tae's arms and flailed his own, excited to make music and trying to stand up. Jungkook helped him, beaming excited. "Appa! Appa! Look, it's a little baby. His name is Siwoo and he's smart, he said my name." Almost.
"Siwoo is Jin's little boy. He adopted him with his husband, Jiho." Namjoon explained, helping the boys balance Siwoo. "Walk very slowly with him, remember? He's so little, he only just learned walking."
"I know, Joonie! I'm a good hyung!" Tae whined at the lack of trust, carefully walking with Siwoo and already forgetting about the whining, smiling instead, very eager to get going. "Do you like music, Kookie? I really like it. My hyung studies music, so I am very good at it." Logically.
Yoongi had given Jungkook the thumbs up when he introduced the baby to him and now he looked at Namjoon, nodding. "Yeah, we were in the same class. I didn't know he got married... But I guess he'd be the type to want a family early. Not that I can talk."
"Really? That's so cool. I dunno a lot about music except my eomma used to sing a song to me when I slept." He sang it happily, just the chorus, holding on to Siwoo's other hand as they helped the tiny boy into the play area. Jungkook grabbed one of the toy flutes and blew into it, loud and noisey, it was not the best but Siwoo giggled and clapped, amazed by the magic noises.
"Seokjin? Oh, he's a model. Mr Worldwide Handsome." Namjoon smiled fondly, leaning back on the floor and keeping an eye on the boys. Kids were unfortunately kids, even the best kids didn't always understand how to be gentle with little babies. "His husband is a former idol who produces these days."
They were quite the power couple. "Both from good families and all, they pretty much fund this whole area. They always had the money and luck, they decided to share some for once."
"That's cool. He was always a nice guy, Seokjin. All the girls wanted to marry him." Well, handsome, rich and sweet, of course they did. He hadn't known that Jin swung the other way, but he was probably one of those who had to meet the right person, no matter the gender, and all fell into place. He seemed like that kind of guy.
Tae and Jungkook were making all kinds of noise, but whatever. They and Siwoo certainly seemed to be having a good time. Yoongi looked at them with a fond smile. "You study music? I'm sorry, I never asked. I should have."
