"Okay, hyung." He wanted to be a big boy, but he wanted to just be done hurting. He wished it worked that way. It was boring to hurt, but his head felt all weird from the meds, so it wasn't as if he could sleep. "Tell Jungkookie that I love him, please?" He wanted to go and play with Jungkookie. Why wasn't he well enough yet? He was at such a disadvantage.
"I will go tell him right now so just relax, don't worry and if you need me, just call out. Okay? Good." He gently pushed the boy onto his least hurt side and pulled his covers up, kissing the top of his head. "You rest up and I'll come back in a few hours with meds." He left the boy curled up in bed and headed back out.
Where there was just glitter everywhere. He stared down at Yoongi and Jungkook, raising an eyebrow. "Did a fairy die in here?"
Jungkook patted more glitter onto the wet, gluey paper. "I'm making a card!"
"He's making a card." Yoongi shrugged, obviously having given up that fight a while ago. He was more focused on his phone, even as he laid on the ground next to his crafty boy. Well, there was a lot of business to stay on top of. "How are our patients?"
Seemed like they should find out. "Careful, Jungkookie, you can't put glitter on top of glitter, that won't stick."
"Taehyung is awake but he's out of it and in pain, I told him to go back to sleep. Jiho hasn't even stirred but given what the doctor told us? Might be for the best." He had some fractured ribs, a lot of bruising and old, untreated injuries. He needed painkillers and rest. "They're both not feeling good but Tae wanted me to say that he loves Jungkookie."
Jungkook smiled as he added more glue on top of the glitter so he could add more glitter. "I love him too! I'm gonna make him the bestest card. Jiminie says the best cards have glitter."
"Ah, so that's who we're gonna blame." Fucking Jimin. Their boy was covered in glitter.
"Yeah. I've decided I'm going to slowly suffocate him in a tub full of glitter." It was a nice mental image, so Yoongi was at peace with it. He held a hand up to Namjoon so he could put him down onto their glittery floor. "I've got soup simmering for them, they can have that later. Supposed to be healthy."
Well, sometimes the traditional methods helped. "Kangwoo has given up looking for them, so I guess he knows where they are for certain by now. I've informed Minjun and he's thanked us and very formally asked for them to not be harmed over any rivalries."
So, hey, maybe the pothead could mature in time after all.
"Good to know he's not so high, he can't see common sense." Namjoon teased as he sat among the glitter, already covering every inch of his feet. Dear God. "Tae, why don't you add some pretty stickers instead?" He held up the dinosaur stickers and Kookie nodded, taking his favourite ones and trying to stick them onto the wet, glitter mess.
"Pretty, pretty, pretty." Jungkook mumbled as he turned to Dooly, smiling. "Then we go meet Tae and give it to him. He doesn't know you yet. That's okay, we can teach him and show him TV."
Namjoon smiled at Jungkook, ruffling his hair. Cute boy. "We'll wait for a recovery before properly acting. They need to be physically strong to handle the emotional issues."
"That's what you say. I've got everyone breathing down my neck and people wondering whether we've killed them." There were a lot of rumours going around and Yoongi was already wondering how to deal with that. "Honestly, right now I'm thinking maybe we can invite Minjun over, get him to take a selfie with the boys that he can post to whatever kids use these days and then we give him a few of our men to keep him and his boyfriend safe."
Throwing their eggs into one basket, but at this point he figured it was too late to return. He watched Jungkook and smiled a bit. "We can move the television tomorrow, maybe, if Tae and his brother feel better, then you can all watch a little together."
"I think maybe that's the best move. I think for everyone. Minjun should see them and besides, Kangwoo is unstable and we need someone who can be reasoned with to rule the Dragons." If Minjun didn't want to, he got it but he was going to offer whatever help and support he could offer to help Minjun try and lead. "It also might help Jiho to see a familiar face. He's very scared of us." Just going by every past interaction.
Jungkook nodded in approval at the plan, picking up some crayons so he could draw Dooly inside the card for Tae. "I have two more hyungs now. I love TaeTae hyung. I dunno Jiho hyung but TaeTae says he's the bestest."
"Then he probably is the bestest. I just think Jiho is shy. I used to be like that. Then you sometimes seem scary or unfriendly. Just ask Namjoon how I was when he first got to know me." Yoongi shifted on the floor now to rest his head against Namjoon's shoulder while composing a message to Minjun that would come across the right way. Sixteen. So not old enough to lead anyone. "I might put Hobi with him for a while, he knows more about things than anyone else, always on top of gossip."
It was one of his most important sources of information.
"He was a jerk. But a cute jerk, cutest jerk, he carried me home when I fell over and scrapped my knee." Probably not what he expected from his future second in command but Namjoon had always been soft. He then denied he was crying and clung onto Yoongi, whining the whole piggy back home. "I'm sure Jiho isn't a jerk though. I bet he'll be nice and want to meet Dooly too."
Jungkook beamed and bounced up and down, eagerly colouring in his drawing. Namjoon laughed and looked over at Yoongi. "Probably a good idea. Hobi is very experienced, fairly neutral and he has his ways of easing people."
"And he can teach them how to smoke without smelling of it for the next several hours." That seemed like it would be a very valuable lesson to impart on them. Yoongi turned his head after sending the message, kissing Namjoon's cheek. "You're already glittery. A bit longer here and it will be like we went out clubbing."
He laughed and sat up, running a hand through his hair. "I have to check on the soup. What do you two want to have for dinner?"
"Hamburger!" Jungkook called out as he leapt to his feet, running at Namjoon suddenly so the other had to catch him. Namjoon laughed and lifted the kid up over his head, amused by how giggly Jungkook was today. He hadn't slept great so it was even more impressive. Having Tae around must have made him more energetic and excited.
"I second hamburgers. I love them." Namjoon added, tilting his head back to smile at Yoongi. "You're the best ever, Yoonie-ah." His cool, badass bae. Making him food and kicking ass.
