With the rap over, Namjoon came over and picked up Tae, nuzzling him a little. "He was so impressed. We're great. We should be a proper rap duo. Maybe a trio, we can ask Agust D to collab with us."
Jimin hurried over to Jin and flopped all over him. "Hyuuuuuuuuuung, I'm so hungry."
"I did tell you that we should record you at the studio some time." Although he only thought Namjoon had actual potential, but whatever. Yoongi got to his feet and looked at Jin, who was apparently in charge of food. "Can I help with anything?"
"Sure. You can set the table." Jin gestured to the table and Yoongi simply walked off to do it, while Hobi whispered to Jin.
"You can't just make a star set your dinner table!"
Namjoon set Tae down to go and wash his hands, making sure that Jimin and Tae would help Jungkook wash his before he joined Yoongi and started to help him. Or hinder him. Honestly, it was debatable. He was slowly placing down the knives and forks when the door knocked really loudly and Namjoon frowned, turning his head.
"Everyone I know is here..." For some odd reason, Namjoon looked up, as if he was debating who it could be instead of answering the door.
Whoever was outside was singing Christmas songs... slutty Christmas songs. But boy, what an angelic voice.
"Oh my God, why is he here?" Hobi got up and headed for the door, opening it to repeat the same question to his kind of boyfriend's face. "Oh my God, why are you here?"
"TEN!" Tae bounced and then hurried to get to the door, once more sliding but this time connecting with Ten's legs, which was softer than the door. He held on to him and beamed. "I won the rap contest!"
"Ah... I remember you mentioning him." Yoongi kept his voice low, watching the scene curiously.
"Oh God, not him." Namjoon almost faceplanted the table. His little boy was touching that fuckboy, what was he going to do?
"I got a phone call today from Santa's elf, sounded a lot like a certain toddler you know. He said I have to come, not be mean and be really, really nice and celebrate Christmas with you." Ten explained as he crouched down to smile at Tae. "You did? Little badass." Yeah, maybe he shouldn't use that word around kids. Whatever. "And look at you, all fashionable. You're fierce, you're killing it."
Tilting his head back, Ten looked up at Hobi with a smirk. "By the way, he butt-dialled me by accident and left a forty minute long message in my inbox so ... you may not have minutes."
Jimin came running out, Jungkook behind them, all of them rushing to Ten. For some reason. "TEN! Did you get us anything?! Ten! What did we get?"
"Why." Hobi stepped back, since Ten was busy getting the children's admiration for some reason, shaking his head. Jungkook had clearly wanted to do him a favour, but he was unsure how favourable this would turn out to be. "Just let Ten take off his shoes and jacket, boys, yeah?"
Tae nodded and moved back, excitedly looking from Ten to Yoongi and back again. "Hyung, this is Ten-hyung! He is really funny! We showed him your videos. And Santa got me Gucci, Ten-hyung!"
"Hey." Yoongi waved, unsure what else to do or say, while Jin sighed and headed into the kitchen to get everything to set another place at the table.
"Woah, I'm not -- I'm not staying. I don't do Christmas. I've never celebrated it. Hence why I have no presents but myself." He slipped off his shoes and coat for now but no, he was not sticking around. Family? Kids? Urgh. Gross. He ruffled Tae's hair and then tried to move away from the children, wiping his hands on his pants. He paused in front of Yoongi and frowned, assessing him for a moment before it clicked who he was and how he knew him. From the video. "Oooh. Big dick."
"Ten! You -- You can't say that to him. Or with kids in the room!" Why? Why was this happening? "That's not what we want them to hear."
"Oh. Okay? Sorry." Ten wasn't sure how to make Namjoon stop glaring so he just kind of guessed what was wrong and attempted an apology, looking down at the kids. "Big dicks are fine, they don't make you a freak. We're all special in our own way. Body positivity is important."
"Oh my God, stop saying that word." Namjoon rubbed his temple and gave Hobi a look. Why was this the man he loved.
"No, you have to stay! Jungkookie wants it!" Tae wanted to make sure that would happen, so he turned around to the door and put the chain on. Ha! Only him and Namjoon knew how to undo it, since they lived here. Now they were all locked in and he had missed the big dick exchange, which Yoongi was very grateful for.
"...nice meeting you." Yoongi wasn't sure what else to say and Hobi stepped behind Ten, wrapped an arm around him casually and covered his mouth with his hand, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
Ten nodded and soon the hand was off so he could bow so very nicely, subtly brushing his ass against Hobi before moving forward to lean on one of the chairs, making distance. "I really can't stay, kids. Uncle Ten has to go and practise, practise, practise. I got a lot of work and Christmas doesn't stop that."
Jungkook came over and hugged Hobi's leg, looking up at him innocently. "Santa brought you what you wanted, hyung. You said you wanted to see Ten-hyung more and he came." And hopefully he'd stay.
"Ten-hyung is the bestest dancer in the world." Jimin informed Yoongi while Namjoon sighed and shook his head, leaning heavily on Yoongi and watching as the kids fawned over Ten for some reason. He had no idea why. Ten didn't like kids and he usually didn't play with them or humour them and yet, inexplicably, they loved him. "He showed me videos and he can dance all backwards like a monster!"
"Cool, cool. Love a good monster dance." Yoongi was slightly entertained by the awkwardness, but clearly Namjoon was suffering, so he reached up to pat the side of his face.
"You are staying for dinner, Ten," Jin informed him, clearly thinking that he could make that executive decision. "You never eat healthy by yourself."
"Ten-hyung is so silly, his is scared of fruit." Tae giggled, while climbing into his chair. He was hungry now!
"That's not silly, it's rational. I can't, it's just -- no."
"Once hyung made me a fruit salad and Ten-hyung had to leave the room." That was actually the first time any of them met Ten and what an introduction that was. He turned up late, in bondage gear, got scared of fruit and crawled out of the window when Hobi called him a boyfriend. It had never been normal with Ten.
Namjoon rolled his eyes, helping to finish off setting the table and Ten's place while the other awkwardly stood there, unsure what to do. "Just sit down, idiot."
"Rude." Ten huffed and then turned around instead to look at Tae. "You got Gucci on? Fancy boy. You're part of the Gucci gang now. Jiminie too. We can look good while everyone else suffers."
"Agust D is dressed really cool too!" Tae did love Ten, but with two of his faves in the same room, he had to make sure there would be an even distribution of admiration. Also, Yoongi was even cooler, cause he was on TV. "And my brother is his bae, so he can get all the clothes he wants!"
"Yeah?" Yoongi smirked, looking at Namjoon. "What clothes do you want, bae?" Hey, he was just curious.
"Ten looks so fancy and I am so hungry." Hobi sat down after stating those two possibly related facts and then turned so he could help Jungkook into his seat. "Are you hungry too, you little elf?" He would have to talk to him about using his phone like that.
"Finally got yourself a sugar daddy? Smart. That's a smart way to live. Props." Ten raised the empty class by him and held it up to Namjoon with admiration while the other blushed and buried his head in his hands.
"I don't, he's not! God. No." He turned his head to Yoongi and pouted. "I don't know where Tae gets these ideas but I'm inclined to blame Hobi and Ten."
Jungkook got into his seat and smiled at Hobi, very proud of himself for saving the day and helping Hobi not be lonely on Christmas. "Can you help me cut?" It was tricky, he wasn't good at it yet.
"Do you like Namjoon's bae?" Ten asked mock quietly, as if they were having a super secret conversation. Namjoon couldn't help but watch, honestly curious. Did he? He knew he worshipped him but did he like him?
"Yes! He makes it so Namjoonie-hyung isn't lonely! And he made it warm! And he made him go to the hospital, which was scary, but he needed to! And he helped me buy gifts for my friends! And he doesn't tell me to shut up! And--" Tae had to cut himself off, since he was out of breath from all the yelling, which was also what made him realise that he had been yelling, so he switched to whispering - still pretty damn loud. "He's nice."
Yoongi mouthed 'nice' to Namjoon, while Jin started passing out food and Hobi helpfully started cutting for Jungkook, as well as actually fixing a few bites for him. He was still little after all.
"You know I'd be your sugar daddy in a heartbeat, but my company actually likes the work you do, so I don't think they'll let me just pay you for free." Yoongi said it regretfully, but with a smile. He really, really was hoping that Namjoon could maybe quit his other jobs soon.
"It'd be really cool if you could get me some kind of stable job there. It'd be nice to have a new year where I can spend time with Tae and have more extra cash. More times for things. Things like dates. And if it works out, it'd be great." It was exciting, the idea of having a good income, more time and less commutes. God, he could always be here to put Tae to bed or walk him to school. These days, he just wanted that more.
"Hobi is also really good and smart, you should give him money too." Jungkook suggested innocently, not really thinking about it. They were discussing payment and he wanted to help Hobi, once again, he just didn't know how... once again.
"Yes." Ten agreed, nodding with great interest. "That."
"They like your translating work and they always need a lot of that, so I think you can definitely get a good job there. Even if it wasn't for me." Yoongi shrugged with one shoulder and then smirked. "Although I might be able to put in a good work or two." He wanted Namjoon to have to worry a lot less about things like having enough time and money for his brother. And he wanted to see him more too, ideally.
"Wha--?" Hobi's mouth fell open and then he just put up his hands in denial, shaking his head. "No, no, no, I'm no good at English. No good at nothing."
Yoongi laughed. "I don't know about that. I've heard you rap."
"Hobi-hyung dances! Like Ten-hyung! They are the best dancers!" Tae was convinced of that.
"Me and Hobi were quite the duo but man, we never took anything seriously. Especially not after Tae." Being rappers was hard before but with him and his kid, even harder. Hobi was always there for him, didn't ditch him or let him down once but sometimes, he really did miss when they made music together. "We mostly did our own stuff and we had some wild ideas. Remember Ddaeng?"
That was his favourite to perform. He made the bell sound and Jungkook copied him excitedly because it was a funny sound and he was tiny.
And then Jimin did it.
And naturally, the table was just full of bell sounds.
Ten raised an eyebrow and turned to Hobi, just wondering what the fuck his rap career was cause it didn't sound great. "I bet you guys were an amazing bell tribute band."
"...it wasn't just about bells," Hobi tried to assure Ten, mostly hoping that he'd stop being on about him earning more money. He would much prefer weird assumptions about his rapping. "Ddaeng was really good! I bet I still remember most of it."
Tae was ringing and finally had to stop, since he was laughing too hard. Yoongi just hoped his ears would survive this dinner. "The offer of recording at my studio some time is standing. Joon-ah and Hobi, if you want. If you give me advance notice, anyway."
"I remember it, it was fun for perform! But, uh, we're not that good. I mean, next to you. But Hobi is great. You really should see him dance."
"Ten too! I want to be able to do this one move that he does where he's like ahhh and then like ahhhh but spinnier." Jimin mimed out a dance move and tried to explain to Yoongi but he was sitting in a chair and mostly just fell to the side and hit his brother. What else was new? Jimin giggled and poked Jin. "I'll be a dancer soon."
"I saw that one video you played me of his, I don't think he needs dancer. Not the vibe, right?" Ten had seen it once and mostly, he just took away the part where Yoongi had a big dick and that was it. "Rappers do the whole hype move thing, always so sad. There's so much potential but you don't see dancing with rappers unless it's half naked chicks."
"Yeah, I don't do... chicks." Obviously. But also not in his videos. Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck. "I used to do b-boying when I was younger, before things really took off, but yeah. It's not really my thing, dancing. Especially not as artistic as what Jimin is showing."

"Jimin is a star dancer," Jin claimed, petting his brother's hair, "He dances to your music all the time." So Yoongi damn well better appreciate.
"You'll have to show me, Jiminie."
"Me too!" Tae bounced in his seat. "Me too! I dance!"
"I take classes and -- and I am trying really hard to be really good at it. The boys at school make fun of me cause I'm a girl but they won't when I dance in cool videos like G-Dragon's or yours!" Jimin did a lot of non-traditional male things, out and about and at home. It did lead to a lot of bullying. Playing with dolls, wanting to wear a tutu and dancing - it didn't always bode well but he was sure one day it would work out. Just look at Ten. "I just have to be thin and graceful."
"You don't have to be thin." Ten dismissed, despite being the slimiest in the room and not having another on his plate, giving a kind of hypocritical assurance. Jimin wasn't dumb, he noticed. "You do have to be graceful. Focus on that part."
"You're tiny, Jiminie. And so talented. You should dance after dinner, show Yoongi how good you are." Namjoon encouraged before looking at Yoongi. "We're not overstepping, right? If you need to go, go any time."
"TaeTae can dance too." Jungkook added, just to hype his friend. "He can dance with Jiminie."
"Nah, don't worry. I'm off until tomorrow evening, got an event then." Yoongi figured there was nowhere better to spend his time than here. Even if part of him was hoping that maybe he could eventually get some alone time with Namjoon in as well. "I wanna see you dance, Jiminie. And TaeTae."
"They are very talented boys," Hobi enthused, "Jungkook and I do choreography for them." Since Jungkook was just a little bit too tiny to properly coordinate his body, but he sure knew how to challenge his little hyungs.
"You dance in any videos?" Yoongi looked at Hobi and Ten. "I mean, my company does hold auditions for dancers all the time."
"Once or twice but the pay is garbage and I need to live. We're trying to get our cash together for a studio." But Ten kept spending his money and Hobi didn't seem to have any savings so that was just a far off dream. He still worked at one studio, occasionally he rent it for solo stuff but it didn't happen as much as he wanted. "Usually it's just whatever job I can get."
"The industry is pretty tricky for dancers. Usually you have to do the idol thing." Namjoon knew because he and Hobi had both toyed with the idea of doing that once.
Jungkook smiled down the table and then he waved. Because why not? Then he looked back at Yoongi, all business and serious. Such an odd toddler.
"Hobi-hyung is a good dancer. He doesn't audition cause he's so good. You should give him money." Jungkook nodded firmly. Yes, he was team Hobi.
"No, no, no! I just don't want to be an idol. I'm a romanticist! I choose love!" J-Hope made a heart with his hand and then purposely didn't look at Ten, but cuddled Jungkook instead. He knew what life he wanted and he doubted he could have had it had he even tried to do the idol thing. "You don't have to give me money."
Yoongi laughed, a bit overwhelmed, but just choosing to smile at Jungkook. "Maybe the studio thing can happen a bit sooner, huh? That'd be a good investment, you think?" Especially if he did try and find a different place for them to live. Might as well go all out.
"Tell your company we can choreograph anything they throw at us. I don't want to be an idol but I can teach them idols a thing or two." Ten was very confident, no hesitation at all. He was a good dancer, he was very proud of it too so why not brag to the man with money. "Invest! It's a good idea. Right, kids?"

"... Okay, can we all not yell at Yoongi?" Namjoon laughed and reached out to hug Yoongi playfully. "They're very excitable. Christmas and sugar, it's not always this bad but that does make chaos out of them."
