"I feel wrong for being here." Namjoon laughed to show he didn't mean ill by it, hurrying after Yoongi and trying to stick close so he didn't get kicked out for being a random dude roaming the hallway. He had on joggers and a hoodie, his cleanest and best. He wanted to wear a shirt but Jungkook had thrown up on it this morning and there was no salvaging it.
Apparently the boy could not tolerate eating more than one candy bar without wrecking everything. "I'm so excited for the grand revel. You should do a drum roll. And an epic announcement."
"Like, what? Welcome to Agust D's apartment?" Yoongi stopped by his door and drummed his fingers against the wood before unlocking, approximating a drum roll. "Welcome to Min Yoongi's place! It's where he wishes he could always sleep."
He opened the door and gestured for Namjoon to walk in first, then followed behind him and flicked the light switch. "Go to the windows, the view is actually legit pretty amazing."
He did love this place, even if he didn't actually tend to spend much time here. "I live more at the studio than here, but it's great. Do you think Tae would like it?"
He wanted Namjoon to know that he realised that Tae and him were a package deal.
"Tae would lose his mind for this view. He loves a good view. He once made me carry his lazy ass to the top floor of a shopping mall, just so we could see the pretty towers." Namjoon laughed and leaned forward, just taking in the view with awe and trying not to be touched that Yoongi had mentioned Tae so easily. He didn't know what it meant, not really. It just felt good.
"Your place is really cool. Way better than mine. I'm glad we didn't have a date there."
Especially not since all the boys decided to draw on his wall last week. Honestly, Hobi was such a slap-dash sitter some days. He was probably sexting Ten.
Yoongi came to stand next to Namjoon and, to his credit, he did stand a lot closer than before. Maybe he should take his hand? He was just glad that Namjoon couldn't hear him overthinking this. "Next time we come here, you should take Tae."
Not so much a first date thing. Yoongi was watching Namjoon rather than the view, his heart beating too fast. He would have thought that already having talked to Namjoon so much would make this easier, but instead everything mattered more. "What do you feel like eating? Any preferences? We'll go fancy, it's a date."
"Fancy, eh? Uhhh. I am not great at fancy. Let's get sushi? That's kinda fancy." Namjoon smiled softly and took Yoongi's hand without thinking, using it to pull him closer so they could stand together and look outside. "It's such a pretty night. You can see the stars here... usually you can't see jackshit in the sky this side of the world, you know? Cities, man, all that pollution but up here? It's beautiful."
He really liked it. Turning his head, he squeezed Yoongi hand and beamed at him. "Thanks for showing me this. And for food. I'm so hungry, I worked all day and I had no lunch break, then I had to pick up the boys from daycare. I'm so excited to just eat."
"Okay. Then I'll order a lot of food." And he kind of needed his hand for that, but he didn't care. He looked at Namjoon and held his hand and he hoped he didn't look as nervous as he felt, because that was just ridiculous. At least he managed to not just look at the floor. "I get to see really nice things, but it's really not the same when you're the only one looking. This place feels better now that you've been here and I've lived here for over a year."
"Company makes everything better." He knew enough about Yoongi to know that he was probably nervous around people, probably as shy and as awkward as he described himself. With a soft smile, he let go of his hand and then leaned forward, impulsively kissing his cheek because damn, he was cute and he wasn't about to miss his chance. "Order food, I'll go pick a movie. You got netflix or are you old school? Got any DVDs?"
Yoongi clung to whatever swag he had to keep from holding his cheek like a dumbass, but he did smile at Namjoon, so obviously smitten, nodding in agreement. "Er, yeah, I got some DVDs under the television, but there's Netflix too, you got the button on the remote. I always have DVDs of my favourites, but we can watch anything."
Right now he'd have happily watched even the lousiest K-Drama, if it was what Namjoon wanted. Instead of further showing how smitten he was, he looked through delivery services on his phone and finally found one that sounded good and special enough for a first date, choosing a couple of things. "Anything you don't eat, Joon-ah?"
"Oh man, Tazza!" Namjoon was already on his knees and looking through the DVDs, plucking out the ones he liked. Eh, they could watch more than one movie. Hobi had Tae tonight, as long as he was there in the morning, he could stay as long as he wanted to. "We have to watch that. And Train to Busan, that's so much fun. Not fun but -- you know."
Looking over his movie options, he tilted his head back and considered the question. "I don't eat crab, squid or basically any cute sea creature. I prefer vegetable sushi to fish, personally, but I can eat tuna and salmon. They're my exceptions." He was less fond of fish as he was of other sea creatures so he could handle that. Mostly because Jin had trained him too.
"All right, then let's get you something less fishy." Luckily there were plenty of options for other stuff. "You're making me think I should take you to a beach some time. Has Tae ever been? Have you?" Yoongi wasn't overly fond himself, mostly because there was too much sun and a lot of moving, but he could imagine having the right company could improve on that tremendously.
He dropped down on the sofa once he'd finished his order, watching Namjoon and his enthusiasm. "I swear, when you aren't around I never smile this much. You'll be awful for my image."
"Oh yeah, that was my favourite place to go. Tae hasn't been since he was two though, I used to take the bus when I was a student and go crab hunting. We'd find them, I'd tell him about them then we set them free. They're friends, not food." Namjoon smiled playfully, knowing he sounded like a dork but not afraid to do so. He just grinned and owned it. "Whenever dad upset me, I ran away and that was my happy place. I wanted to take Tae more but... money, you know? It's tight."
And he didn't have the student bus pass any more. He shoved a DVD into the player and scrambled up, staggering over so he could drop onto the couch. "I like ruining your rep." With a playful smile, he held up his hand - still with two fingers casted. "It's too much fun, don't hate me!"
"I'll take you. I want to." He'd just have to make time. It felt strange to even want to do anything outside of work. Yoongi knew he wouldn't be able to make that much time, but perhaps he could combine it. Do some shooting for a music video and take his boyfriend and Tae along. Why not? He wanted to take him back to his happy place.
He leaned a bit closer to Namjoon, indicating his hand. "Your cast looks amazing. Tell me who drew what?" A true work of art.
"That's be so cool, it's been years since I went to the beach but I guess I have less reasons to run away. Got a nice place, got Tae and my friend. Got you now too." And that did make him happy. He turned his head, grinning at Yoongi - he was dating his favourite rapper. How was any of this real?
"The alien is Tae, the little panda is Jiminie and that thing you can't make out? That's Kookie. He said it's a dino but -- I don't even know." It was a small canvas and it mostly looked like s smudge with arms but he appreciated it. "Wanna sign it too?"
"Yeah. Let me!" Yoongi leaned forward to grab a pen off his coffee table and then, inspired by the drawings already on there, he was drawing as well. He finished, not exactly impressed by himself, so he put his signature underneath as well. There, now it was at least worth something. "I drew you an angry chocolate cookie."
Well, that was just kind of how it ended up looking. "This is why I'm a rapper, not an artist."
He eyes his creation critically, then drew a heart as well, for good measure.
"That is one angry cookie. Kookie will giggle." Especially when he told him. He grinned at it and then the little heart made him blush. Oh. Oh no. His favourite rapper was also adorable. He pressed play on the movie and then looked over his cast, grinning a little. "Now everyone who matters the most to me as signed it. I'm such a special boy."
Grinning at Yoongi, he shifted along the couch to be closer to him, their thighs touching just a little bit.
"Thanks for making time for me, yeah? This means a lot."
"Thanks for doing the same. I know you're busy as hell." So much work and the children? Yeah, Yoongi knew he wasn't the only one with a stressful schedule. He leaned into the touch a little and then decided to bravely go for it, shifting close enough for him to rest his head against Namjoon's shoulder. This was nice. He was nervous, which made him tense, but it was still nice. He already knew Namjoon. Namjoon already knew him. This wasn't so bad.
"Sorry if it isn't quite as glamorous as people imagine dating me to be. I'm still working on getting you those diamond shoes."
He raised his arm and comfortably wrapped it around his shoulder, pulling him close so he could make him feel a bit more at ease. He knew he was tense, he didn't blame him - Namjoon was so nervous, his palms kept sweating. "Dude, I don't need that kind of shit. I get sushi and a movie, that's great. And grown up time. No kids, no cartoons, no food everywhere. This is glamorous for me." He leaned forward and, because he could and he liked to do it, he kissed his cheek again. And again. And one more time, just cause.
"You're cute, you know? Everyone thinks you're a bad boy but you're so soft." It was endearing as hell. "Cute."
"I'll still take you shopping eventually. I looked through your youtube channel, teenage you had way too many opinions on style for you to not still care about clothes." Yoongi was just saying. He turned his head to look at Namjoon and because he thought that maybe he'd catch a kiss on his lips yet, but then Namjoon accused him of cuteness and he found himself pouting instead. "Am not."
"Oh, I care but I can't afford it and when I can, someone ruins it. It's tragic. When Tae was a baby, he destroyed every last piece of rad designer merch I saved up for." Then again, that was just babies. They puked, they peed and they pooped. Usually on people and their things. He just never expected to be with a baby when he was that young, nor did he get the full responsibility.
"You're pouting adorably. Are so." He stuck out his tongue and then leaned forward, catching the lip and pulling him into their first proper kiss. Exhilarating! He was kissing Agust D!
Yoongi kissed back and then when Namjoon ended the kiss, he just kissed him again. It wasn't the best position, so it only took him a moment to get on Namjoon's lap, facing him for a kiss that wouldn't hurt his neck. Hey, he wasn't the youngest any more.
He was aware that this might be a bit too forward, but hey. They still had food coming, so maybe that would make it seem a little less as if he was about to jump his bones right then and there. Although touching Namjoon's chest was definitely awakening something in him.
"I am? Are you sure?" Well. That was a dumb thing to say but he was always baffled by it. He flushed bright red, laughed a little and kissed him back, needy and wanting. He hadn't made out with anyone like this since-- since Tae, actually. He had one boyfriend when he was 15. And it did not go well. He called him a nerd. The worst. Now there was a handsome guy in his lap, kissing him and wanting him.
God, he wanted it so bad too.
"You're my first proper grown up kiss." Was that really a thing to bring up now? He was flushed and breathless, looking at Yoongi with desire. "It's nice. You're... You're very nice."
"Yeah? That's what I'm known for. Very nice guy." Yoongi had to huff out a laugh at that, even if the way Namjoon looked at him right now and the way he looked... It made his mouth go dry and his dick stir and he suddenly really wished that they weren't waiting for food to get here. The realisation that Namjoon was nervous too, somehow it put him more at ease.
"Kissing you is better than any other kiss I've ever had." He leaned forward and quickly ran his tongue around namjoon's lips. "You have amazing lips. So soft. Just the way I imagined."
"I use a lip balm... they chap in the winter." These were some great pick up lines. Why did he suck so much? Huffing a little, he leaned forward and kissed him again, just trying to stop his mouth from saying dumb things. It was nice to kiss Yoongi, he could finally be an adult and do adult things like date and kiss boys. He wanted this for so long.
As they pulled apart, he leaned his forehead against Yoongi's and hell, he had to laugh.
"I'm so excited for food but also I'm so hard in these pants, I really hate that we're gonna have to pause for food... also we missed the start of the movie." Stupid life. All he wanted to do was fuck. "Life is bitch, man."
"Oh yeah... I'll take responsibility, I shouldn't have gotten on top of you." Yoongi laughed and reached up so he could card his fingers through Namjoon's hair, the other hand still on his chest. Damn, he wanted to see him without clothes on. "We should to the thing pervert businessmen do and I'll just eat sushi off your naked body."
Sounded like a great idea for him. "Don't worry about the movie, it'll keep. We'll do this again."
Whether they actually got laid today or not. "Think I'm in for good."
"My body would make a shitty plate, just saying. I'm not very -- it's not the best plating." He laughed nervously and then shrugged, wondering how Yoongi would react to the mess his body was. He was working out lately, trying to get himself in shape so that was something but he had so many scars, marks and little silver shimmers of old wounds that just peppered his body. It was kind of embarrassing.
Yoongi's skin looked so smooth and soft. He couldn't wait to kiss him all over.
"I'm in for good to. Like. I want you so much." Not just for sex, for everything. He wanted to hold his hand, he wanted to go on trips, have him meet Tae, have more dates - definitely have sex. He wanted everything with him. "I want to be with you."
