He's too emotional about it. You and Hobi have just been busy. Or asleep." Because he didn't sleep much and so a lot of the time he had visited Ten during the night. "I don't need to protect him from you, I know you or Hobi wouldn't do anything without my go ahead. I'm just not going to send Hobi down to undo everything I've done."

"You don't know for certain what you've done. He's a liar. You know, I got a lot of intel about Ten and most of it is that he's a lying bastard." And some other positive things but everyone who met him said he lied a lot. It didn't help cement his trust. "We usually go good cop and bad cop. We use all of us so we can get a good scope, catch out lies. I assumed we'd do the same thing. We always do stuff in a certain way and you're deviating. I just -- I wanted to help."

And instead, he made Yoongi mad at him.

"I go with what's working. I've interrogated people by myself before, I've worked entirely alone at times." As Namjoon knew. Damn, he sounded so upset and Yoongi had no idea how to fix that. He didn't have an easy answer, he had just gone with what had been working. "Go down with Hobi next time. I need to give it a break anyway, he's projecting."

"He's a fuckboy, huh? Did he try to fuck you? Oh, stockholm syndrome." Namjoon laughed a little, despite the sadness, leaning heavily on the door. "I told you that sensory deprivation has interesting effects on people. you should have listened to what I had to tell you. It's interesting."

"Why do you think I was using sensory deprivation? I got exactly what I wanted out of it. Of course he wants to fuck me." Not a flattering situation and it had escalated more than he'd intended, but still. "He's not as uncaring as he thinks he is, I've proof of that, and he wants me to care about him. That's why he's telling me things. How am I fucked? That was the goal."

"Pretty fucked, you idiot." Opening the door, Namjoon smiled at Yoongi and reached out, grabbing his shirt and pulling him into. He didn't want to fight with Yoongi, he hated it. "Come on, I'll show you a slideshow I made and we can work out how best to go forward. I have candy."
