"Oh shit, you gotta be fucking kidding me." Well, this was not the first time. Usually there was a quick way out of this and a slow way. The quick way as deterring them and the slow way was whenever his dad came, gunned them all down and took him back. He vastly preferred the quicker route way. "How much do you want to leave the car right now?"
He really wanted to party tonight. He frowned at the gun but he didn't move. Just gave Ten a look more reserved for a nuisances that a kidnapper.
"Sorry, I already got a great deal going." Tae figured he couldn't really afford to be too polite, so he grabbed Ten by the neck and pushed him forward, gun against the back of his head as he simply forced his hands together and used the handcuffs that he'd been given for this purpose, making sure they were tight enough.
He had never really done anything like this before, but he knew that the others clearly knew what they were doing, so there was no doubt in his mind. He pulled a black cloth out of his pocket and started tying it around Ten's head, blindfolding him. "It's personal. Sorry about that."
"You're apologising a lot but I doubt you're sorry. Tsk." Ten was scared, sure, but he was used to this. He met people playing this kind of game since he was a baby, always threats and once or twice, actual action. It had been a while, admittedly, and he'd never had one actually get physical with him. Usually they got their location and Ten ran off or stayed down so no one hurt him.
He didn't like rough treatment so he stayed still. For now. These cuffs weren't the best. He checked, tugged his hands experimentally. Cheon's were better. "So who are you guys? Got a gang name or are you just chancers?"
"I'm not at liberty to say." He really liked saying that though, sounded very important. "I'm Tae though. Or V. I'm no one, you can know that." He wasn't sure what and when Yoongi would want him to know, so he wasn't about to be the person messing with that. He doubted his own identity was of interest to anyone though, it certainly hadn't ever been before.
He let go of Ten and tested the blindfold, putting the gun away for now. "I'm not going to hurt you as long as you behave. Can't speak for anyone else though."
"You know who my dad is, right? Redundant question, perhaps, but worth saying." Ten tested his cuffs a few more times, idly wondering what kind of lock it was. He skimmed his fingers around the lock and stuck out his tongue a little, they were more complicated than expected. Damn. "If you don't let me go, you're dead. My daddy will kill you."
Ten turned his head towards where he knew Tae was and he smiled to hide the fear that he was going to get hurt. Would they really be that dumb and hurt him? "If I have a mark on me, you're all fucked."
"I don't know anything. I'm just along for the ride." All right, so he knew a little, but there was no need to disclose that. Tae didn't want to give anything away. "But the people in charge know who your father is exactly. And seriously, don't call him daddy, you're too old for that." Kind of weird, honestly.
"I'm pretty sure part of the entire purpose of this is to hurt you a lot, so, y'know, maybe I'm fucked, but you'll be fucked first."
Was this guy a total idiot or something? Jesus Christ. Who was stealing him? He wasn't sure what kind of moron thought they'd even try to lay a hand on him but he was starting to get annoyed. This wasn't fair! He had plans tonight and instead, he was stuck with a jabbering loon and God knows what kind of consequences. "I'll fuck you, you little bitch."
Ten raised his legs up to his chest and then slammed them forward, trying to hit the drivers seat and cause some damage. "Let me out! Let me out! I'm going to have you all fucking killed if you don't just let me out."
Once against, he slammed his feet hard into the back of the drivers seat. Slamming his elbow down on the side of the car door, the automatical winder brought the window down and he felt cold air on his face. Good. "HELP!"
Hobi just said his name, but there was an undercurrent of something and Tae knew he'd messed up, so he immediately pulled Ten back from the window - Hobi was already closing it again - and covered his mouth with his hand. He pulled the duct tape from the bag and used it to wrap around Ten's head, this time intent on gagging him and clearly a bit concerned, so he did more rounds of it than necessary and finally ripped it off.
He made sure to pull Ten closer against himself and away from the door and Hobi's seat, holding him down. "Don't make me hurt you!"
Ten flailed and he refused to stay down, he could feel the breeze slowly disappear and he kept screaming, kept kicking his legs wildly and occasionally catching Hobi's seat as he did. He didn't care how it looked, he just cared if he got out of here. Stupid, useless driver. Where the fuck was he? Where were his guards? They were waiting outside the club, didn't they notice anything was wrong.
Breathing heavily through his nose, he tried to wriggle out from Tae's grip.
"Tae!" Hobi was losing his patience, turning a corner and really not up for dealing with a fight in the backseat. "Use your knife."
"Right, right." Tae pulled out his knife and pretty much moved until he sat on top of Ten, not even caring how stupid he might look, he just needed him to stay put. He opened his knife and held the blade against Ten's face, hoping that would be enough to calm him down. "I can hurt you, you know?"
He really didn't want to, but he would in a heartbeat.
Ten stopped moving, feeling a blade against him. No one had ever turned a weapon on him before. It just didn't happen. It jolted a little closer as the car hit a speed bump and lightly nicked his skim. With a whimper, that was it, Ten went limp under Tae and held very still.
He didn't want them to mutilate his face. He just had to conserve energy and prepare to attack later when there wasn't a knife and he could see better.
"He's still now," Tae informed Hobi, hoping that he wouldn't tell the others that there had been trouble. He kept the knife where it was, but moved it aside a little so he wouldn't hurt him again.
"Good. You did well." But be that as it may, Hobi parked the car in an abandoned garage he knew about soon after, just so he could get out, open the door to the backseat and pull Ten out. He made him walk easily enough, that kid didn't exactly have much weight to him, and opened the door to the trunk, using a rather mean grip on Ten's arm to hurt him enough to force him in their without any issues. "Just to save you time, Houdini, there's no handle on the inside of the trunk. I wouldn't struggle too much if I was you, you don't want to run out of air. Now keep your head down."
He wanted to make sure that they weren't all beginners here.
Ten didn't know why they'd stopped, he was unsure if they were there yet or not. It couldn't be. The journey time wasn't that long, surely they couldn't be that dumb. And, like that, he was yanked out of the care and manhandled like some common loser. He grunted in pain and flailed, trying to kick his leg back subtly and hit this son of a bitch.
It didn't work well and he just ducked his head, gasping in pain as Hobi gripped him harder. He slid into the trunk and curled into himself, breathing hard.
Hobi slammed the drunk shut and a short while later the car started up again, only now Tae was in the not very roomy trunk, his hands still cuffed behind him, blindfolded and with tape wrapped around his head. Not exactly a good situation to be in, but maybe that'd subdue him a little.
The ride took a long time, over two hours, they were outside the city by the time the car stopped again. It was Hobi that pulled Ten out of the trunk and helped him stand up, wrapping an arm around him from behind. "You hear that? That's birds. We're in a forest here. Guess who'd be able to hear you scream and how far you'd get if you got a chance to run."
"I wouldn't run from here, I'd get lost." Tae was just saying, looking around a bit. "It's pretty though."
"Yes, very scenic." Hobi smiled in spite of himself. Whatever, Tae was cute.
Seriously? The fucking woods. Ten struggled and tried to work out if it was true or not. He could hear birds but cities had birds. Though it did smell of pine. Fuck. No, he didn't know how to get out of that. He wriggled around in Hobi's grip and whined in fear, trying to get away from him despite what he said.
Not that he'd get very far like this. He couldn't see anything and he could breath well with all the tape. He just knew he didn't want to be here.
Maybe he could bribe them. Did he have his wallet? Fuck. He hoped he did.
Hobi forced Ten along, walking him to the door, which Tae held open for them.
"We're back!" Perhaps a bit too cheerful, but hey, Tae was excited to tell Jungkook how well it had gone. Hobi mostly just focused on getting Ten down the stairs, making sure he took note of how he had Tae open a door first, one that was locked, and then dragging him down, where another door had to be unlocked before they reached the basement. They knew what they were doing, even if Tae still had a learning curve.
"Tae, get Suga."
"Yes, sir." Tae saluted playfully and then dashed off, leaving Hobi to place Ten in a sturdy chair. He looked at the mess of tape covering his mouth and pulled out his own knife to cut through it and rip it off, figuring hurting his hair a little was going to be the least of his issues soon.
Where the hell were they taking him? He went down stairs, he had like a billion doors open and close. What was this? Some hicks murder ranch. He cringed into himself as he felt the knife get close to his face again, trying to pull away and making fearful little noises, flinching every time the knife got close. When the tape was ripped off, he screamed out and his eyes welled with tears.
"Ow! You bastard!" That probably took some hair out with it. He licked his lips and snarled up at this arrogant fucker. "Do you have any idea how screwed you are? You're in so much trouble. Just wait. My daddy will know and he'll come."
Well. His men would. His dad was busy. Technically he hadn't seen his dad in months but it was certain that someone would notice. Pursuing his lips, he drew all the moisture into his mouth and spat blindly towards where Hobi's voice came from.
"Fuck you!"
Jungkook looked up from the gun he was cleaning, smiling faintly at Tae before clearing his throat when Tae went the wrong way. "Nope, that's the closet. Other way, TaeTae. Suga is in the living room, brooding."
"I'm sure your daddy will find out. Kind of counting on it." Hobi avoided the spit by moving to the side, but he also slapped Ten's face, hard. He had a feeling this brat needed some violence before he'd grasp the seriousness of the situation. He gripped his hair and pulled his head back, smiling as he looked down at him and actually sounding cheerful too. "You know about good cop and bad cop? I've terrible news for you. I'm the good one here."
"...it's a big house." He was still getting used to it. Tae closed the closet door and then turned around, waved at Jungkook and headed into the living room so he could get Suga. "We have him! He's such a brat, I needed to use my knife to keep him still, but then it all went well hi Namjoon!"
Yoongi rolled his eyes, but he got up, thinking even as he headed for the door to the basement. He wasn't sure how to play this yet.
"Ow." Ten whimpered the word out and his mouth tasted like copper. That was a hard slap. Cheon had slapped him before but never like that. It really hurt. He winced and tilted his head back, trying not to be cowed down so easily. He was the good one? How the fuck was he the good one? "I'm going to make sure you get tortured to death."
Somehow. Maybe. Whenever he was found.
"Hey, kid." Namjoon had to laugh, it was kind of funny. Tae was so excited, clashing so hard with the mood. He got up and stretched, reaching out to ruffle Tae's hair as he walked by. "Do me a favour and work with Jimin, you need to get some instruments we might need cleaning. They're in the back." And a bit rusty but they were good torture devices. No point in wasting them.
Hurrying after Yoongi, he stood behind him and eyed up the door. "Let's do this thing then. Get it over with."
Yoongi nodded, opening the door and heading down the stairs. He wasn't sure what he felt. Tense, he supposed. This wasn't something he'd have ideally chosen to do, but it was the fastest way towards achieving their goals and there would be no compromising on that. He stopped in front of Ten, looking at him for a moment and then at Hobi. "Take the blindfold off."
He wanted to have a proper look at the kid, he didn't think that he'd be recognised. Even on the off chance that Ten knew what he'd looked like, he hardly looked like it now, with dyed hair and dressed like many other young men. His eyes were cold, he knew that, and they stayed that way when he looked at Ten. "Tell me how desperately we need him alive, RM."
It didn't really matter, as long as they could make his father think he was alive and that wouldn't be difficult. He figured it'd be good for the kid to hear that.
"Eh." Namjoon supplied very helpfully with a shrug. "Get an array of pictures and we can bluff to the finish line. He ain't worth shit." Well, he was worth something but he wanted to scare him. It felt good.
"I'm worth more than you." Ten couldn't help it, he was afraid, upset and he wasn't going to be bossed around by these no name losers. If they killed him and, oh God, he hoped they didn't, then he wasn't going to die not having slammed them just a little bit. "You don't know who you're messing with. You guys are fucked. Totally fucked."
An empty threat but he had to try something. Scare them back. If they were afraid, they'd keep him alive or let him go. It wasn't worth the risk. "They'll know if I'm dead!" Somehow. Right? He didn't want to consider the idea of dying in obscurity.
"Maybe. But you'd still be dead, so what's it to you?" Yoongi shrugged his shoulders and looked at Hobi. "Give me his wallet."
He could see it from here. Hobi nodded, bending to get the wallet out of his pocket and throwing it at Yoongi, who caught it easily. Thankfully he hadn't thrown it at Namjoon, that might have been embarrassing. Yoongi looked through the wallet, frowning when he saw a few pictures clearly taken a photo booth and recognised Cheon. Dark Dragon heir. He looked at the picture with a frown, adjusting some things in his head and then handed it to Namjoon, not that he knew whether he'd recognise him too. He could fill him in later.
"You've never been tortured, right? That's tough." Obviously wouldn't stop him.
He didn't have a lot of cash in there, mostly cards, all his dads, and his pictures. He had pictures with his friends, Cheon and his dad. They were all stuffed in there, just in case he ever wanted to show people he liked. He didn't like these punks. He eyed up his wallet, feeling his heart sink a little at Yoongi's words. He didn't want to be tortured. Not even a little. Pain could be fun, he was pretty into it, but he really didn't want the kind of pain that they wanted to give him. It really wasn't as arousing.
"Shit, look at all these platinum cards." That was a lot of money. He pulled one out and looked it over. "Premium member. Fancy."
"You can take the money if that's what you're after. I'll give you all the account numbers. You don't have to do this, it's fucking stupid. Do you have any idea how dumb this is? Touching me is suicide." He looked at Yoongi, hating to look at him. His eyes were so cold. "What kind of an idiot would do that?"
"This money is nothing, RM. Keep your eye on the prize." They were after something bigger here and Yoongi didn't plan on getting distracted. He moved forward putting a hand on the side of Ten's face, where he could already see that Hobi must have slapped him. Just a little red, but it must have hurt anyway. Yoongi looked down at him, not really caring, yet, whether he believed them to be idiots or not. "I know exactly what I'm doing."
"What? Stroking my cheek? You hitting on me or something? Cause I'm taken." He would hav bragged about his boyfriend but he didn't know if that was worth it or not. He jerked his head back from the touch and pulled a face, wrinkling his nose in disgust. "How about you make it worth my time, oppa. At least suck me off if you're looking to get somewhere."
Well. Shit. Why did he have to go and say that? He never could help himself.
