"I couldn't get you a whole tree, but I saw something on one of them and so I climbed up." Yoongi moved his hand into his pocket and produced the yellow leaf that had been his entire reason for meeting up with Jimin. He held it out to him, bowing his head as he waited to see whether the offer would be expected.
"I don't know where I'll be when fall comes here." Perhaps he'd be dead. "But here is the first fall leaf for you. Picked before it could hit the ground."
"Oh. That's so pretty." With the biggest smile, Jimin laughed and took the leaf, looking it over and trying not to damage it. It was a little crinkled. He could preserve it, he was sure he could. He had to ask Tae but maybe they could keep it forever and ever. He didn't know that Yoongi thought about him this much. It was really touching.
"This is such a good present. I love yellow! Yellow is my favourite." So perfect, so fitting. It hurt his heart. "I didn't get you anything..."
Hmm. He considered for a moment before coming forward and giving Yoongi a small, sweet kiss. "For you. Keep it safe!"
Yoongi's eyes widened a little at the kiss, having not entirely expected that, even in spite of everything. He hesitated for a moment and then moved forward himself, leaned in and kissed Jimin properly - or perhaps very improperly, given who they were - his eyes closing as he wrapped his arms around him. If he'd learned anything in life it was not to bother waiting around for second chances, but instead take the first.
He pulled away and immediately went down on one knee, lowering his head. "Thank you, Prince Jimin." Back to being formal and proper. "I will keep it safe."
That was an amazing kiss. He was a little stunned. Looking down at Yoongi, he huffed out a small laugh and dropped onto his own knees, reaching up to cup Yoongi's face and smile. "I don't need the bowing and the formalities. I just need you. Come back to me, yes? I want to do that again. And again. Maybe more."
His heart was racing in his chest, he definitely wanted it. "You have nice lips." He really did. "Please don't die."
"I always try very hard not to," Yoongi assured him with just the hint of a grin, looking at Jimin. He didn't know if there could ever be a future for them, even hypothetically, but he had decided it didn't matter enough for him to not even have kissed him properly once. "Come out here every night. I'll find a way to bring the stars to you."
Jimin stroked his cheek lightly and then leaned forward, giving him a gentle little kiss he could keep with him. "I'll see you again." Definitely. He wouldn't lose him, not yet. They hadn't even gotten to start anything. "If you get lost, follow the dippy part."

Hopefully a step up from stones.
