"Does he speak for you now?" Hobi didn't want to have this conversation at all, he definitely didn't want to have it with Tae and Jimin in the room. Calling Yoongi out might be the best way to deal with that, but Yoongi just shrugged.
"We are equals. He speaks for himself." He ran his thumb along the back of Jimin's hand. "Although I agree." Just making that clear. All of it.
"Equals." Hobi repeated the word and then just slowly shook his head, feeling the pressure get to him. Sometimes he envied Yoongi for whatever training he had gone through that kept him from showing emotions, because he knew all of his were so easily seen right underneath the surface, unless he managed to detach and tap into that coldness within him. "Jimin is with you. The Jung family recognises that. He has no more ties to us. We have no right to him. He's yours to protect and care for."
That resolved just about none of the issues, but at least he had made it official.
"I will miss my home." Jimin felt the need to tell Hobi that, he really loved being part of this gang but it wasn't possible for him any more. "I'll miss you, hyung. I say these things because I love you. I -- I still love you." He was like an older brother, of course he loved him and he loved Tae too. They were family and to lose his family was hard.
Still, he had Suga and he held onto his hand tight, knowing he had made the right decision.
"When Cheon was fucking me, not really of my own will, he would rant about work and annoyances after. He spoke so disrespectfully of you and your father. They think you're garbage." He just thought it was fair to tell him that. The Dark Dragons didn't seem them as equals, not really. Just a source of income. "You're not. I'm sorry it's ending this way."
"I love you too, Jimin. I want you to be safe." Which right now effectively meant that he was better off holding his rival's hand and that alone hurt. He couldn't do what Yoongi had done when he'd taken over his clan, for so many reasons. It wasn't as if he wanted to kill his father, hell, it wasn't even as if that would be something people in their family would accept. Perhaps there was something to the Min clan's way of life after all, he supposed it made it easier to bring about change. He knew that Tae was close to crying even without looking his way and he did what he could to not look his way, because he wasn't sure what comfort he could give him right now.
"We will deal with the Dark Dragons. Find a compromise. Clearly they have crossed lines." Hobi wished he knew how to pull away, if it was even up to him. "Cheon will be dealt with, but leave it up to us, Yoongi."
Hobi bowed his head a little. "Please refrain from seeking revenge. They are under us and we will deal with them. You and yours are safe and no longer involved."
Yoongi turned his head to look at Jimin, then replied to Hobi. "I'll accept for now. But I do want Cheon punished. I-- We want him stopped. So I'll expect an update."
"You'll be informed." Really only buying time again. It seemed to be all he was doing today.
Jimin just felt like Hobi needed to hear that. He really wanted to. He smiled a little and then turned his head, looking at Suga sadly. He didn't want to have to have any sort of bad blood with them but everything was so crazy and out of their hands now. "Can we go now? I want to go home." Yeah, home, his new home. With his puppy and his Yoongi.
He couldn't stand the idea of looking at Tae right now, all he wanted to do was take his hand and drag him along with him.
Yoongi just nodded and wrapped his arm around Jimin's waist to keep him closer as he turned to walk outside, the men still walking behind them and perhaps also working to shield Jimin from looking back at Tae. He would have to find a way to save Tae for Jimin, he already knew that, but he had no idea how to go about it yet, not if they still wanted to avoid a war. It was one thing to save someone who was now his lover from abuse, saving Tae would be a different thing entirely.
He stayed silent all the way to the car and once the car door had closed behind them, he pulled Jimin into his arms, giving him that hug he hadn't been able to give Hobi. "We are going home now."
