I'm ready! Trying to find out in the crowd. So many people?
Jimin looked around everywhere, spinning about and wandering up and down to find Yoongi, finally spotting what he assumed was Suga. He raised his hand and waved it, grinning happily. "Suga!"
"Hey." Suga lifted a hand and smiled at Jimin, not wearing his shades today, since he doubted that Hobi would be around. Big reason he planned on taking Jimin over to his place. And, yes, he planned on doing so with the bicycle he was leaning against.
"Hey, handsome!" Jimin grinned and bounced forward, looking down and -- ah, okay, they were biking it. He hadn't ridden a bike since he was a boy. He had to laugh, he couldn't help it, just glad he wasn't wearing anything that could get caught today. Just shorts and all too long shirt, bright and cheery as always.
"Are we riding on the bike? Oh! I remember this from school. You stand on the back, right?"
"Yeah, sorry. Couldn't get a hold of my driver today." Yoongi grinned at him and then pulled him close, so he could put both hands on his waist and just look at him for a few seconds. Damn. "You look even better in proper lighting."
Between wearing shades and being in a dark club, he could have been wrong about just how attractive Jimin was. Turned out that he had been, because Jimin was even hotter. "Just hold on to me and you'll be fine. You are lighter than the box I usually strap on the back."
"You too. You have such pretty eyes. I'm sorry I didn't get to see them sooner." Excitedly, he climbed onto the back and cheered a little, wrapping his arms readily around Yoongi. He hadn't done this since he was young, hoping on the back of Tae's bike because he never liked to ride his own. He fell off a few times and got scared.
Luckily, he was over it. "Do you have a bell? You should ring it." He always like that part.
"For you? Sure." Yoongi rang the bell as he started down the road, luckily pretty good at this. He might not be the sportiest, but working deliveries had at least made him good at this particular thing. Otherwise his athleticism was focused on basketball, so hey. Better than nothing. He gave the bell another ring and sped up, not wanting to waste any time.
"I don't usually do this, you know? Bring guys to my place. You're special."
He was special. Woah, he'd never been special before. Hobi called him beautiful and amazing sometimes but never special. He did the same for him that he did for Tae and all the other boys who worked under him. Rewards for being good, punishments for being bad. Same old, same old. With Yoongi, he got to be special.
Grinning, he tightened his grip and hugged him from behind. "I'm glad I get to be special for you. You're special for me too. I wouldn't normally ride off on a strangers bike but ... I like you a lot."
"Good." Yoongi thought about what all of this meant, because of course he knew. He knew that Jimin definitely wasn't supposed to hang out with someone who was a nobody, but who could very well work with somebody. Definitely not supposed to just ride off with them. He shouldn't be this trusting. If this was one of his men...
Well. He hoped Hobi never found out about this. But whatever. He didn't want to think about business. His time with Jimin was limited, just as his time doing anything like this was limited as well. Namjoon couldn't understand why Yoongi enjoyed it so much, even when they went to sleep hungry. To him, this was freedom.
He stopped the bike when they reached their building, helping Jimin off it before pushing it inside and using his bike chain to lock it. He couldn't risk it getting stolen. The building was old, in bad shape and not exactly a romantic place to take anyone to, but Yoongi reached for Jimin's hand and smiled, pulling him up the stairs. "If you're really lucky, I'll serve you some cup noodles."
Jimin hopped off and tried his best to stabilise the bike for him, hurrying along beside Yoongi and taking his hand. This place was a dump, no denying it. He had a little voice in his head yelling him off, constantly, for doing something so dangerous and stupid but he trusted Yoongi. He looked into his eyes and saw a soft man, the kind of man he could be with and have no fear.
Maybe that was why it all felt so safe and easy.
"Oooh, hot food. Swanky!" Jimin laughed in excitement, hurrying up the stairs as carefully as he could. "I haven't had cup noodles before. Are they good? They always look it. They have fun packages and cool mascots."
"Honestly, I kind of love them? Sometimes we go to a convenience store and buy some processed cheese to put in it and an egg or whatever and it's really good." Yoongi still felt a certain thrill eating them, so maybe that was why it excited him so much. He let go of Jimin's hand to unlock the door, then held it open so he could get in first.
"Come on in!" Yoongi closed the door behind them. "Next time, I take you on a convenience store date."
"That sounds amazing. I like having dates with you, it's so cool. I know some guys can be snobs but I'm not, I promise. I think it's interesting." He came in and carefully removed his shoes, looking around the cramped little apartment. Just one bed, a load of books and a small kitchen area.
"It's small." Well, it seemed pointless to lie to Yoongi, he must have known he'd think it. "Cosy though. Is this where you and your friend live - what was his name again? Did you tell me?"
"Can't remember if I did. His name's Namjoon. He's smart, most of the books over there are all his. Always reading." Yoongi had read a number of the books as well, but usually he preferred listening to music. Besides, for obvious reasons he did the cooking, if they had anything to do the cooking with.
Right now he put on the kettle and then got out their selection of cup noodles, presenting them to Jimin. "Choose one!"
"Oh! This one is shrimp. And it's pink! Yes, this one. Please." Jimin beamed as he held out his cup noodle, shaking it excitedly and offering it out for Yoongi. He was so easily fascinated, he watched the whole thing with such wonder and interest. He was practically hanging off Yoongi as he poured the water and stirred it.
"It's so simple cause it has it's own container. You don't have to wash up." So handy! Why did his parents never let him eat these? "Smells so good!"
Jimin's joy was contagious, Yoongi couldn't help himself and smile with him, turning his head to kiss his lips. Just a small kiss, followed by a couple more, because Jimin wasn't someone he could or wanted to resist. "You smell good too." Hey, just thought he should know. Yoongi took the noodles and a pair of chopsticks, carrying both over to the bed and sitting down. Not as if they had a lot of choice in seating space. "I really like the shrimp one."
He handed it to Jimin. "Enjoy! It's going to make me full too, seeing you enjoy it."
The kisses were perfect, everything about this was. It was like something out of a fantasy he had always idly thought about. Him, with a cute boy, being domestic in the kitchen and hanging out in their apartment. Being loved and wanted. He felt so special, it made his heart want to burst.
Sitting down, he used his chopsticks to try some of it, too eager not to eat it. He slurped it up hastily, greatly excited. "Oh, it's so good! It's so good, Suga. You need to eat some too." He wanted them both to dine together, no respect or formalities like with the mob. Just two people, happy and in love.
