The ties cut into his skin and he whined weakly, it was good to have this feeling again. It had been a while. The last time had been handcuffs, far too long ago, so this was an interesting change. The zip ties were different but painful, they cut into his skin and pinched unpleasantly. Which was kind of pleasant in it's own way.

He didn't think this was done to be cruel, he didn't think he had death coming, even if the uncertainty made his heart race. If it was supposed to be the end, he couldn't have petted his hair like that - right? It was a game. Slowly sitting upright, he met Hobi's eyes, excitement obvious.
