He wished he could say he thought about it and did it as a pre planned move but mostly, he was scared and he acted on impulse. One moment Yoongi was in danger, the next the gun fired and he was moving in to save him. And then pain. It was a burning, non-stop pain and he hated himself for being so weak. He didn't even get a chance to take part in the shoot out, he didn't get to do anything worthwhile.

Like a kid, he was being dragged along and saved, whimpering in pain at every movement.

"I'm sorry, hyung. I'm so sorry." He wanted to do better. He was delirious with pain and that was the only thing he could focus on. "Ah, no, ah, it hurts!" The pressure was painful but he knew it had to be done. He gritted his teeth and tried to breathe, to keep it together.
